Hey guys I cam across this thread after googling for sportsbook bounced checks. Anyways, I had used sportsbook's poker site for over a year now. I have withdrawn roughly 20 checks. Before June their checks would take less than a week, everytime. After June '08, they took over a month every time. MY most recent check arriver after a month, which isn't too bad all things considered, BUT it bounced. I found this out tonight, and will contact them in the morning.
After I found out the check bounced I went on sportsbook and talked with some of the players. Apparantly this has happened several times to players. My point being, ditch this site, withdraw your money and be done with it. I played poker on it because the players are absolutely terrible, but its not worth it anymore.
Sorry to hear that this has happened to others.

Yes you can do a charge back no problem. Simple register with you credit card's web site to check balances etc. After you do this go to the site and fill out their fraud form and follow their procedures and you will get everything back. Just do what they ask and don't fret and you will be fine. These fraud books need to be attacked en masse and kicked where it hurts. They are taking money KNOWING that they have pay problems.
Wrong Worng Wrong!!

New update: After 3 more phone calls this week, sportsbetting.com said that they are reissued the check yesterday and should have it in 4-5 business days. I don't know if it's a ploy to just get past the Superbowl or whether I will receive a bounced check or not. Either way, it's a better reply than I have been getting such as "please be patient" or "we will look into the matter." This was also follow up by an email confirmation (no tracking info though)
I will let you guys know whether or not I receive anything next week. Good luck to everyone on this Sunday's game.

Rabbit, I've been using them for 5 years and never had a problem. I requested a check for $2K on the 25th of January and received it last night.
Make sure they have everything they need from you as far as payout goes. A lot of sites request copies of photo ID's, credit card statement, even utility bills.
I use 6 online books currently, and as far as sportsbetting.com goes, I'm yet to have any significant problems.
