No line out yet, as of Monday... Still questions about
QB injury. 1st string DAK PRESCOTT has missed 2 games with nerve damage and coach mullin not optimistic on his return this year. 2nd string QB Tyler Russell got the garbage kicked out of him during the Arkansas game. He had a good game but Arky secondary pretty pathetic.

Miss on the road for the first time in almost 2 months. MissSt pass D, better than Mizzou's which tends to be The Colonel's go to. If that line gets into DD, ill take the Bulldogs...
NO ONE, wants to play at Starks... garbage whole to visit, combined with a short week for both.... Like it

Home team is 7-2-1 ATS last ten years. Very live home dog, here folks - solid D and lots to play for (bowl eligibility on the line).
Ole Miss padded their stat line against Idaho and Troy, but without those two games, this is an average offense. Coming off the home loss, going on the road against the in-state rival?

Tough call on this one. Rebels are the better team on a neutral field but MSU will play them tough at home. If I play it at all, I am leaning Ole Miss and giving the 3 but it really is a higher risk gamble than I like to take because one slight mistake could swing the outcome the other way. Mullen's offense has just never been consistent in his time in Starkville and the Rebels have lost to every decent team they have played.

Ole Miss team basically very healthy now. ( QB Wallace played Mizzou with flu) but overall the team is healthy. Wide receivers might be best in the country. and QB Wallace having a great year. Fast paced offense.
1. Beat Vandy (at Vandy)
2. Beat Texas (at Texas in a blowout win)
3. was leading TAMU by td most of 4th qtr, only to lose by heroic JFF last drive and last second field goal
4. beat LSU in a signature win.
Miss St plays decent defense but is vulnerable to the pass. They are plodding on offense and have had putting points on the board most of the year. Had a few blowouts against cupcake opponents. (Troy, alcorn) Got trottled by OklSt ,LSU, and almost lost to Bowling Green and Kentucky. TAMU really dominated them leading 51-27 into 4th qtr until TAMU emptied the bench. Struggled to beat Arkansas and would have lost if ARKY hadnt fumbled at the 5 yrd line. Some say they played Alabama heroically but anyone knows Bama, knows that they can play very conservative at times against lessor opponents. Dont think for a minute that Bama was at risk.
weather should be clear and cold , those big receivers at Ole Miss should have a great game.

At most a one unit play on Ole Miss -3
I assume you meant the "Bulldogs" have lost to every decent team they have played. The Rebels beat Vandy, Texas and LSU.

I think Ole Miss is by fare better team than Miss St. They have lost to four ranked teams and they have won to LSU. Miss St. will miss some key players, so I think this will be a one way game. Like Ole Miss -4 and under.

I've never been more confident of anything in my life.
MSU is playing at home for bowl eligibility in a rivalry game. The Black Bears are already locked into a bowl and are coming off a big loss last weekend. Everything's coming up MSU.
Take the Ole Miss Rebel Black Bears. I can't stress enough how bad this MSU team is. Mullen is an average coach at best. The offense can't score. The defense is decent, but rewatch the Alabama game - when plays need to be made, they won't get made. MSU is a bad, bad team.

I'm with you Beech. The under is the stand out value here...too much QB Drama, cow bells, fevers, instate rivals bla bla bla... a lot of noise.
Tryin to pick a side feels like were all fightin over the last chicken wing. Looking at the under makes all the noise go away. Gives me the warm and fuzzies on a warm and fuzzy kinda day.
Happy Thanksgiving Ladies and may all your pockets be lined with the brand new, blue tinted Ben Franklins. Stacks and Stacks of em...

Miss State's 6 losses.... *Oklahoma State in close game until 2nd half *Auburn (in final seconds) *LSU (close until 4th Quarter) *South Carolina *Texas A&M (battled back and forth to finish) *Alabama (shut down Bama's offense)
This team has battled close in all of these big games. However, Dan Mullen could never get his team to pull out a signature win. Mullen, however, inherits a favorable schedule next season, but that season starts with a good offseason of recruiting.
Phase One of recruiting in Mississippi is winning the Egg Bowl. For those outside of the state of Mississippi, this game has as much intensity as any rivalry in the country.
Look for the Bulldogs to come out with as much intensity as ever. Keep in mind... When Bulldog teams played with that intensity, they played neck and neck with LSU, Auburn, Alabama and Texas A&M. Add to the equation: The Bulldogs go bowling if they win tonight. Ole Miss is one talented team. And, better coached top to bottom. However, the home crowd will play a role in tonight's emotional atmosphere.

You are obviously a state fan. I hope you bet with your head and not your heart my friend. Ms state sucks and that's all to say about that. The games you say they battled in where not close at all. Oklahoma st at the time was playing 3 qb's and it was 6 weeks or so into the season before they settled on one. they were not good at the time and state was man handled by a weak big 12 defense. lsu was never close. lsu played like total garbage and was very flat in the first half. coach got in there garbage at half time and they came out and blew your team out of there own stadium. texas a&m was leading by 21 or 24 in the fourth until they put in the third string while ol no neck mullen kept his starters in and made the score look much closer than it was. as for bama, saban said that his team looked like rocks out there. they turned the ball over like 4 times and that is not like them. they were very flat and played like crap. you know its hard to get up for a turd team. state only scored that game because one of the fat lineman jumped on a fumble in the endzone. so don't come on here with that garbage. you are either a bookie or a state fan that bets with his heart. do the right thing. ole miss is far more superior that state. OLE MISS for the large for me.

oh and south Carolina. I would hardly call a 16 point loss close. maybe that is a win in your book to not loose by over 20 but its a butt whipping to me. your team almost lost to Arkansas and would have had they not fumbled inside the 5. they almost lost to bowling green and would have had it not been for bad calls and them turning the ball over twice in the red zone. also they just did beat Kentucky late in the fourth. don't be a fan today. win some money and take ole miss

oh the hate has started on this Sunny TGiving Day...
Its just so hard to hear someone say this team sucks, that team sucks... I don't put much stock in the Miss W vs LSU. if you watched, it was a "3 pick - who gives a sh!t game for the Tiger O, and the Mad Hatter forgot to remind the kids that they play on Sat"
Conf wins: Miss - Vandy, Ark MisSt - UK, Ark... without IDA, SEMSt, TROY, and BG - both these teams are looking at 1-2 wins. Both teams are poor. AGREED

ole miss-4. I got me ma grand pappy's real cow bell and I'm gonna shake that thang all game long and I don't care whut the scoreboard sez. Well watch the game and that nonsense will make sense. These fool guy bring real cow bells to the game and supposedly they ring em when they are supposed to but of course they don't give a horses patooty and ring em when the visitors are trying to call plays. Ole Miss should win this by more than 4. SEC football, where acting crazy is normal.
