I am torn by this one, but leaning LSU. I think LSU is being underrated by an over reaction to the defensive losses to the NFL. I think the defense will be very solid, lot talent that couldn't get on the field last season and is waiting to shine. The questions for me are around the offense,, it wasn't very good last year, and I don't see much improvement this fall. And that unit is going against TCU's strength, their defense. I see this being close, because I think it is low scoring. Will check the under for this game once it is set, might be the best way to play this game. TCU wants to use this game to make a statement and will play hard. LSU is better, but this is an opener and weird things can happen. Good matchup with national interest, probably the 2nd most significant game of the opening weekend.

Neutral field in Dallas rara if that factors into your evaluation. Tigers travel very well but this game is just a few miles from TCU's campus. Crowd noise isn't a problem for LSU though, they face more hostile road games regularly.

In the sec when they get players no matter if player was a w.r / r.b. ect when out of high school ...they are told ..you want to play @ ls.u. get in line ON DEFENSE trust me they will have no issues ..those players are ready just look at the last time tigers had a suspect defense ....oh ya cant recall ...same at r.b. stacked ....they travel great and its not far at at\ll will be as many lsu fans as they will let in ...might be close in 1st 1/2 tigers run away in 2nd 4 is a bargain

anyone think this goes over 50? I like the other side, but new OC and a NFL size/arm strength QB for LSU and I don't know what type of offense to expect from the horned frogs.

Mettenberger might have great arm strength but the ONLY game he ever looked like a decent college QB was against Alabama last year. Just don't trust this offense to ring up many points against a Patterson defense, especially with a new OC. I wouldn't play the O/U on this one, but if I did it would be UNDER. I think LSU wins this due to the power running game, but it won't be easy. Good football game for all the fans.
Light play, one unit for me on LSU -4
GL to all the bettors, go easy on this one. Possible upset in this opener with lots of questions.

Never an easy task beating the Frogs, and with both teams coming off a 1 point bowl game loss, no way will they want to start this season on a losing note. An upset win by the Frogs wouldn't surprise me here, but when your talking money, I'll take the sec over the big 12 in a high profile game like this.

TCU has a stud defense as always and gets Pachall back to jump start the offense again. For a game that should be a low scoring close affair... I'll take the 4 points.

LSU brought in new OC with QB specialties. Should take this offense to a different level. Add that with great D. You can count on the Tigs to always have shut down D. I Like the purple
