Duke opens as a nearly 10 pt fave, on the road, and so many are on UConn by looking at stats alone, and how they're both so similar. Yet, look at their opponents. Their only similar opponent is Syracuse, and I'll look a bit past it since Duke played the backup. But still, Duke is cake walking thru UConn's schedule, while UConn would be lucky to be even close to .500 with Dukes. Why do so many love UConn in this spot? Yes, I have a favorable wager on Duke -9.5 and am weirded out that it's down to -7.5

Duke in off big emotional win last week at Clemson, on road for non-conference game does not mean as much, look ahead to Virginia, stay healthy, and "cake walk" attitude vs UConn viewed as subpar foe -- just a few of the reasons I am on UConn -- and HC Mora is doing one helluva job with less --

Sandwich game between a big win last week and a look ahead game v Virginia. They may win but i think people are thinking they may just not bring forth max effort

This game really does not matter to Duke. If they lose it does not affect their standings. All they need to do is win next week in a much bigger game vs Virginia. Plus, Uconn is undefeated in regulation. All their losses have been in overtime. Plus, I believe their QB has 22 TD's and zero interceptions. Terrible spot for Duke.

They are on UConn because projection models show them as best chance to cover spread as an underdog something like 79% chance to cover at +10.5
Anyone pumping UConn as a play is just looking at the projected model and not really doing the capping work. Its easy to see which teams some cappers here will play once you understand that.

Both dominant wins on the road for Duke came by a team with a god awful QB for Syracuse and a team who cant run the ball. Gotta run to keep up with Duke. Back to back road games off a tough emotional win vs Syracuse equals 1 score game imo
