Trying to be as picky as I can. The more bets you put on your card, the more problems arise. And screw paying taxes....
ATS 9-5-1 (+$323.61)
ML 4-3 (+$105.85)
O/U 0-1 (-$100.00)
OVERALL 13-9-1 (+$329.46)
JMU -17.5(-113) $100.00/$88.50
I think jmu bounces back after letting down their bettors(ats) in an ugly win otr against Georgia State.
It was a terrible 1H for them, but they stuck to their guns in the 2H with the run game, took a 14-7 lead and that's how it ended. Coach still chose to run the ball into a stacked box instead of passing, allowing their great defense and special teams to get the W.
They got out with a win, without forcing the qb to hang some points against an opponent otr in a game where they didn't have to. Admittedly, JMU doesn't have the greatest passing game. Although QB Alonza Barnett is protecting the ball with only 1 interception on the year.
If you haven't watched any JMU football, their run game is a sight to see. The o line is tremendous. 4 different RB's have carried the ball for averages of 7.0 ypc, 5.0, 6.4, and 6.9.
JMU has averaged 230 rush yards per game, good for 15th in the country. The Ragin Cajuns have surrendered 265.3 rush yards per game, #134 in the country.
Last week I faded WVU at BYU mainly because of their QB problems. Louisiana is on their 3rd string QB D'Wayne Winfield. They're off a bye(slight concern here) because 2 weeks ago Winfield came into the game vs Marshall mid 3Q. He was the spark that allowed them to tie the game with 21 points in the 4th quarter. That game took double OT to beat Marshall.
So to be fair, this kid might be better than what the Cajuns been putting out. Will the bye week help him even more? It might. Was that incredible rally vs Marshall just something Marshall wasn't ready for against a qb they knew nothing about, maybe? After reading into it he originally came to Louisiana to play safety, but wanted to try qb. High ceiling type good kid. That's all I know. But he's 3rd string regardless, and will be making his first start otr vs a great defense.
I got this spread around -21 fwiw. I don't like laying a lot of points but a discount is a discount. I think, who knows really?
Good luck
