Week 2 observations and overreactions

Yeah this forum has died quit a bit. I would add that LSU is not as good as people think due to problems with their offensive line. Their center was injured Saturday and will miss this game. He was probably their best lineman.

Yeah, I used to do something similar to this, and then another guy pretty much took it over, and did a good job, and then it seemed to disappear.  I don't know that anyone has to "write it," per se; we just need someone to start it, and have various degenerates contribute. I'm happy to be one of them.  I just need to remember the fun/interesting/useful stuff I come across for inclusion in the thread. I already have some "inside the box score" stuff on a tablet at home, and I'm sure I can find plenty of things to make fun of.  Hell, I went to Virginia; the vast majority of my life consists of things to make fun of.

Eye Test: Oregon looks like the best team in the country. The PSU game is HUGE on the 27th. OU looks like they are for real...I was impressed by Mateer. Not sold on Venables, however. His team seems undisciplined. Clemson & KSt. overrated...Not impressed with Arch, Sark, and Texas in general. They have 2 more losses in them, imo. How about S.Fla.? Who came up with their schedule? Boise, Florida, & Miami first 3 weeks

You cannot sleep on the Buckeyes. They have the two best tandem WR's in college. They have the best safety and defensive player in football. They have two safeties that are All-Americans and first round draft picks. They play three Te's and all three will be in the NFL eventually. They may have the best LB unit as well.

Question marks at RB and QB. The QB looked really good last week after a very solid outing vs Texas week 1. If he plays well on the road in Washington in two weeks, Buckeyes could repeat. RB's still remain a question. This is not even close to last year's RB class.

Penn State beats Oregon at home but then loses to Ohio State at OSU. All three still make it into the playoffs.

 lol- you must not have a clue who I am- I’m not doubting anything- Om cautiously optimistic. The fact remains is their off line is not playing well and either is Nuss. They need to clean things up considerably as the defense is carrying them at the present.
