Fuentes 2 first years after frank was there were decent but that was probably because of Franks recruits. After that its been a struggle to get bowl eligible.

Frank took chances on very skilled players with troubled pasts ! His fans will say he has always tried to help kids!  Frank signed them and figured out how to keep there grade point average healthy enough to keep them on the field and they played there nutz off with the hope the NFL was watching! During the 1996-97 season Franks team had 22 arrests involving 19 players in a span of 13 months&#x2026;This included rape &amp; sodomy charges on starting fullback Brian Edmonds and reserve flanker James Crawford! &#x2026;. Frank Beamer wouldn&#x2019;t have sniffed 280 wins without his willingness to bring in suspect players that better schools dropped or pasted on !
