Lane Kiffin

A lot of smoke about him and the Florida job opening, my question is this would you consider it a huge job move up or a lateral move?

If his wife and kids want to go to Florida- then it's done. But if his wife and kids love Mississippi: then he's staying. The money should be about the same imo! That's what I would do anyway. 

Florida would be an upgrade. Alot more resources. However, higher expectations and they will expect Saban type results Week 1. Does that make sense? No. But that is what some schools expect. If Kiffin is fine with that chaos, then i could see him signing up for it.

Why would you want lane kiffen.    

It is an upgrade based on FL Past.  However, as mentioned above expectations are out of control.  If Kiffin beats OU this weekend, which could happen Ole Miss will probably move Kiffin to 11 million a year.  That is very leisure life in Oxford at 11 million a year... compared to the stress of a Gainesville pressure cooker!   He ain't going to UF

I see the Vandy coach going to UF!

There was a time when it would be a no no to leave a school then come back and coach another team in the same conference. Whatever kind of camaraderie there was has long gone. If Kiffin bolted to UF that would be the 3rd SEC school Kiffin has been at.

Whats Penn st going to do?  Lotta changes and rumors happening mid season  Is Swinney safe? 

it is interesting to compare these jobs as lateral or upgrade…for instance I’ve heard Freeman to Penn St.
