FLU outbreak ND

Notre Dame has already lost multiple players this year who are out with season-ending injuries. Now several Fighting Irish players are dealing with a sickness, too.

On3’s Tyler Horka reports that several Notre Dame players are battling the flu ahead of the Orange Bowl against Penn State. Horka shared the news Thursday morning on Twitter, ahead of Thursday night’s Orange Bowl matchup.

“Been told the flu is going around the Notre Dame locker room,” Horka posted. “Those who have it have it bad, but it sounds like that’s mostly backups and special teams players. Still something to monitor for the Fighting Irish going into the Orange Bowl vs. Penn State tonight.”

Having a flu outbreak in your locker room is obviously not ideal ahead of a College Football Playoff semifinal game. It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, it has on Notre Dame Thursday night.

It would sure help if they named the players.........but they won't.

If this is true… it changes a lot …. No way only second string kids get the flu…. That changes my view entirely…. The flu sucks… you are worn out.  

Wonder why it is mostly with backups and special team players?

BTW, lots of people believe this game is a battle of special teams.

It's mid January and these teams are traveling with 120+ players and as many staff members.  Trust me when I say that every single team left is dealing with some form of illness.  ND's Jeremiyah Love and others had the flu for the Indiana game, others were sick for Sugar Bowl.  I'm an ND Alum and pay for all the message boards, all the "inside info" that the mods from those boards are sharing is that it's being widely overblown and is a non-event.  No major players are limited or out, this has been ongoing for weeks.  

This smells like click bait city.

What I posted came up.  I didn't even notice the click parts of the article.  It was NOT my intention to have anyone go to a different site after reading the article.  My suggestion is for you to google your own information regarding the flu and ND.  

If it's any different than mine......FINE......post it for all to read.

I get sick every time I jack off and have an orgasm. It does something to your body and makes the immune system vulnerable to catching a cold etc. It’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older.
