This is what the committee has always used as justification when either a team as gotten in or snubbed.  To not use it now then the whole thing is and was always just bs

 Yes. Will be Michigan,Georgia, Washington and Alabama. A loss to Alabama doesn’t knock Georgia out of a top 4 ranking 

Okay. But the team (Texas) who dominated the SEC champions and won their conf championship doesn't get it in. Makes sense....

I keep going back to week 2  if it was 3-4 weeks ago I agree   Does Ga really deserve to go from 1 to out with a 3 point loss   I personally do not think so but we will see tomorrow and can bicth about it tomorrow

This thread is proof as to why they need to expand the playoffs to 8 teams.

All these kids making NIL $ now, if they can get paid like men, then they can play a couple extra games like men.

But would FSU beat Georgia,  Bama, or even Ohio st.

And if they are then the streak will continue of having 1 semi-final where its an absolute beat down and by the 3rd quarter everyone will be on here chatting about how 3-4 other teams would have been a better fit rather than Florida State.

It would be completely retarded for Georgia to be out. They are the defending champions and only 1 loss in SEC championship. It's going to be Michigan, Washington, Alabama, Georgia. FSU and Texas aren't jumping Georgia unless the committee rigs it.

And Bama is a completely "different team". You are correct. They are a different team from last week where they barely beat Auburn who was blown out by New Mexico State the week before....

Georgia is 2x defending natty champions. They went undefeated during the season and lost by 3 points in the SEC championship. In what world do they drop outside the top 4? FSU is without their starting QB and Texas just beat a cupcake team in their conference championship. No way do Texas or FSU jump Georgia.

1. I must have missed where being a defending champion means you are in the CFP no matter what
