THE BEST 4 TEAMS vs Record, Deserve, and Representation.

The argument is a good one, especially this year.   

1st let's assume FSU n Texas Wins

IF Bama wins? One could argue to put BOTH SEC teams in as they're probably at least the 3rd n 4th BEST TEAM no matter if FSU is undefeated and Texas wins.  But what if Bama loses a close game, one they let slip away?  They could STILL be seen as maybe better than FSU and yes even Texas.  I know there's NO WAY they're in if they lose...BECAUSE... of the record and representation side.   

But I keep hearing one side for one scenario and then the same commentator will use the other logic for a different scenario.  I mean one could argue Ohio St is better than Washington,  but of course an undefeated Pac-10 Team just has to be in......right?  He'll if you use representation argument, James Madison should be mentioned.   And when they go to 8 teams, teams like them will be discussed.

So sit back, watch the games and pitch your best argument at the end of the day.

Sorry, how about I word it like this. IF TEXAS takes OSU out to the woodshed and Louisville pulls off last minute nail bitting win, then Texas grabs the #4 spot   Better?

Ok State is not good so not sure why Texas would get so much credit for beating them convincingly? A three loss team with losses to unranked South Alabama, unranked Iowa State, and unranked UCF. Heck they barely squeaked out an OT win versus BYU last week. Do not see Texas getting in unless FSU loses, no matter how much they run up the score.

IF FSU wins????  Are they IN?  Are they BETTER than Georgia or even Ohio St.  

Even if FSU wins,they are out. 1.Mich 2.Wash 3.Tex 4.Bama       Mich beats Bama and Wash beats Tex. Mich beats Wash for the natty.

How do you justify putting this squad in? I agree with you that it would be unprecedented but let me ask you this.

This Florida State team vs Texas/Bama/Ohio State/Georgia. Can they beat any of them right now?

BEST 4- Michigan gets punished, FSU gets shafted due to Travis injury.

Just let Washington and Texas play for it. If they subject us to these two winning teams, god help us all. 

I hope you're right .I've always liked FSU but somehow this committee we have loves the SEC and would come up with some reason to get Bama in. FSU deserves it especially if they're unbeaten and down to their 3rd string qb. We go through these scenarios every year. Gives us all something to chat about.

Can't put FSU in, sorry, and unless MI actually puts some offense together and scores something, can't put them in either.
