Possibly my only college play on the card today. I saw someone post there have been 8 straight unders in this matchup? Well, the oddsmakers are still setting this total quite high and I think with good reason.
Ole Miss can play loose and has an explosive offense. They ran for 254 yards vs the Bulldogs last year, Dart barely needed to do anything. This year they also have a great run game but their QB is so good at extending plays and extending drives, and they put up 36 points on a vaunted Oklahoma defense on the road, with that teams top sack unit barely able to get to Chambliss for most of the game.
Miss St in the last 3 games has given up more 3rd quarter points than any team in the country and while Ole Miss has surprisingly faltered in that quarter lately, this defense is a good cure for that.
With bowl eligibility on the line I don't think St will go down without a fight but they're probably gonna have to score in at least the 30s to get that qualifying win and so I imagine they will be aggressive on offense at every opportunity. Meanwhile Lane will probably throw caution to the wind as well since it's possibly his last game.

FML this happens EVERY time I take a total, starts out looking like an easy win and then one bad quarter tanks it.
21 pt first Q, 0 points in the 2nd
Happened to me last time with an Under, it was 10-7 near the end of the 3rd quarter and 30 points were scored by the end of the game and it went to OT and went over
