I’ve done well fading Clemson all season but now that they’ve got basically an FCS opponent in UConn, does anyone think they still struggle? I personally don’t feel confident in the spread here, but have done well with team totals and Clemson’s 1st half team total is sitting at 26.5 right now. Any reason they don’t score 3 TD’s and 2 FG’s or more in the first half. I can’t imagine UConn’s defense can force many stops and Clemson’s defense has been about typical (dominant), so I see Clemson forcing three and outs and having more time of possession.
I’ve noticed Clemson has gone to their backup more recently and honestly see him doing better than DJ. Either way I see them getting 27 in the first half.
Let me know any key notes or opinions.

This game is a name your score game. UCONN is the worst FBS team in the country. I really think if Clemson want's to win by 80 they could. I guess it will depend on when Dabo has the 4th string team playing. Might be worth checking to see if this is a homecoming game. Also check how Dabo does the last 5 years in this situation. Does he step on the gas or put on the brakes?

Line is 41 total is 51...vegas implied score is 46-5...
logic would think clemson beats some offensive frustration out of UCONN...against so carolina state they had 500 hards, scored a TON but had 3 turnovers also.
I would bet that clemson scores 45ish...
Until the wallet is full.

Clemson homecoming was a month ago. This coming Saturday's game is designated as "Military Appreciation Day". I'll be there this weekend to see them whoop up on UCON.
As for the game, I think a 46-5 game is very reasonable expectation. Dabo will let the offense eat - will pretty much be the first time that's happened in 2 months. However, he's gonna get the benchwarmers some playing time, on both sides of the ball, so not sure how effective they will be come the 4th quarter. I'm personally staying away from any wagers on this game. I could definitely see some last minute trash points pushing the total over, but not enough to risk anything on it. This game will likely play out very similar to the SCST game back on 9/11.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.
