Off the top of my head, Andre Ware, David Klingler, and Kevin Kolb all put up huge numbers at the Univ of Houston with no notable impact in the NFL. Keenum might be better than those 3 so I will give him a shot...he does throw a nice ball....I will give him that. I think he will get to NY for the ceremony but I think he finishes 3rd in the Heisman voting.

From what I am understanding, because of the different divisions we have a discrepancy in how stats are obtained so is the real answer here multiple Heismans? If no why not?

Exactly....MAC team score 60 every night....they should have 3 players on each team getting Heisman talk

Big 12 defense is almost as bad as MAC or Conf USA
So, being able to read a defense of say Tulane or UAB is the same as say maybe an SEC defense???

Barkley is better than Keenum, and a better pro on his size alone...
Keenum's a little guy..big heart though..6th year senior...
Ware..Klingler and Kolb were just as good...
Chang..Harrell..Brennan ...Kingsbury....all great statmonsters, but they were 2 small to play in the NFL...

w has Timmy Chang done in the NFL??
Well, he is better than my man T-Chang. Loved/made so much money on the June Jones/T.Chang/R.Warriors. BUT this white arse monkey rolls crazy...he makes Boise State's boy look like Kodell Stewart.

Why do smaller schools never realize this? In basketball and football, some of these small teams always piss about people not wanting to play them. Utah state in basketball, boise and now Houston in football. Its a zero sum game thats why Texas doesn't want to play you. Although I doubt you asked directly for a road game with any of them. You guys (small schools) always want a home and home when you haven't earned it. I Digress. There is nothing to be gained from Texas beating the snot out of you. If they do its chalked up to "we saw this coming, Houston blows." Yet if you do win, you're still not taken seriously, but Texas just lost to lowly unproven Houston in what many will determine a fluke game, since we won't get to see it again in real competition.
You'll play a real team in a bowl game, lets see you hang 73 on them. You won't play a team worth playing ALL season, the fact that the Heisman talk is even mentioned is a joke.
