i'm in md (1 hr from college park) and its been raining straight for 2 days .....and downpours at some points....ground is already saturated. more rain overnight and windy tomorrow (22mph with gusts over 30). below from local wtop:
Rain will continue at times Friday night with some isolated flooding possible, but it won't be widespread. The great concern will be for tidal and coastal flooding in spots such as Alexandria and St. Mary’s County. In total, the area will pick up about 2 to 3 inches with isolated higher amounts possible. Aside from the rain it is windy and chilly.
Rain is likely Saturday morning with a drying trend as we head into the afternoon hours. Scattered showers are still likely, but not as widespread. Some showers are possible on Sunday, but the focus will be more on the winds and cool temperatures.
from wjla (dc): SATURDAY: Areas of Rain, Breezy and Cool Highs: 55-62 Winds: Northeast 15-20+ mph with gusts over 30 mph
terps have had problems with ints this year so dont guess 20mph winds will help. lots of ground and pound. plays into michigans good ball control + excellent D. for the record terps have a field turf surface.

I wouldn't be so gung ho on auto-undering for bad weather. It's not that cut and dry. Fields and equipment are much better today than in the past, defenses have to play in the same enviornment to and react in subpar conditions, offenses can be so bad it creates scoring opportunites like Train alluded to, etc.
Usually factor in the wind more than the rain, more so the more pass happy the game would be in normal conditions. Good run teams in lots of rain can put up points a lot of times.

no problem joe. yeh the story here is really the wind. take a team like the terps who are shaky passing the ball and prone to turnovers (14 already in 4g) and now they become one dimensional trying to run on that michigan D. just cant see terps scoring more than 14 or 17....certainly less is likely.

I agree that is why I haven't played all the games. I picked the ones with the best chances to go under due to the weather. Navy-af a game I didn't jump on will have 25 mph winds. That does me no good in that game so I stayed away the over under betting.

3-0 on the weather plays so far. Made a mistake to pick and choose. Should have played all the unders in the rain and wind. Wisconsin is friggin awful. They need to get back to running the ball.

Nice job on the weather picks Joe..........Yeah dont bet the Badgers for awhile, I did a write-up at the beginning of the year saying that this would be a drop-off year for them.......This is the first year in quite sometime that their O-Line is not dominant....They dont have a great RB......They dont have a good QB, dont have a good TE and only 1 good WR........They have a good offensive system but no talent to go with it......They have a great secondary, above average linebacker core and their D-Line are OK unless they are playing against a real physcial O-Line then they would get run over.........Have about 2K on them winning less than 9.5 games.....I live in Milwaukee and follow them close...A lot of people around here and on Covers thought I was crazy.....But a winning culture cant last forever, had the Badger admissions board not been so strict and allowed Gary Anderson to bring in the guys he wanted he would still be here and the Badgers would have a bunch of freshman talent.....Badgers have lost several key prospects to Nebraska, Minnesota and MICH ST the last few years......If they have another mediorce draft class next year they will be a 6-6 team in 2 years.

I seen how bad they are today. Good fade team the rest of the way against any Defense.

This was a good thread. I hit my unders for Temple and Alabama and feel like an idiot for not betting Duke under.
Still got ND/Clemson under in play. Jumped on 1st half under as well, as I figure both teams will not want to be the one to make the first mistake. Go weather!

There was a guy on here actually named weathered, and that was his betting angle.
I don't recall the exact play, but I think it was something like Memphis @ Tulsa, and people were building an ark.......O/U was close to 80, and somehow, IT WENT OVER. And, of course, people just wanted to bury him. Because he lost A SINGLE GAME. Welcome to the jungle.
Keep looking, and keep posting, is all I can say.........
