I have lived in Florida for 34 years and graduated from UF. I have seen many SEC & Big 10 games, moving from Chicago. However, I have to take Ohio St in this matchup. This is the year that Ohio St beats a SEC team. I thing Pryor and the Buckeye offense will score at will against the Razorbacks. Just my opinion. Good luck in your endeavors.

Fact 2a) Tressel's Bowl record since starting at OSU is only 5-4. Of those 9, THREE were against SEC teams, all of them bad losses [South Carolina, Florida, & LSU].
OSU lost to South Carolina 2 times in a row. The worse loss was by 17 points and was not Tressel coaching but the great Cooper. The following year Tressel lost to South Carolina by 3 points (not sure that constitutes a blow out). I guess you are not going to expose Tressel's good wins, such as the win over the Canes, who were arguably one of the best college teams ever, or Oregon who many people thought was as good as BAMA last year. I have no explanation for the Florida loss other than OSU got dominated on the line of scrimmage, but the loss to LSU was a rebuilding year and a game they should not have been invited to. This year's team is good and will show you why in a few weeks.

Have to agree with most of what you say Daran. I am a buckeye as well, but don't view the CFB world through scarlet and gray glasses. Pryor has gotten better, but after 3 years, 2 things are clear:
1--He is a great athlete.
2--He is a mediocre QB that still makes a lot of poor decisions with the ball.
Thanks for putting all the facts out there for the casual fans that can't remember anything other than the 2 losses in NC games. Tressel has brought a level of class and consistency to the program that I would not trade with any other school at this point. No players arrested, accused of taking $, etc.
This year's buckeye D is not as good as past years (even though they are #3 by the #'s) and the weak non conference opponents made it look better than it is. The secondary will be really put to the test against the Hogs, and I hope they can break the 0-fer vs. SEC in bowls but will not count on it.
VERY interesting to me though is that OSU beat Oregon in the Rose bowl less than a year ago, and very few CFB posters in these forums seem to remember that game....They are quick to point out how good the Pac10 is even though almost every bowl game last year was a disaster...(anyone watch the Nebraska--Arizona game for example?)
No play for me on this game but I would take the points if forced to bet it.

Great point. As long as TP doesn't turn it over, I think this will be a great game. Good matchup and 2 solid teams

I have to say your first point here does not matter.
I guess you are not going to expose Tressel's good wins, such as the win over the Canes, who were arguably one of the best college teams ever, or Oregon who many people thought was as good as BAMA last year.
My point was that against SEC teams, he thoroughly had no success with. Stats are not fallocies, it's clear: 0-3 vs SEC teams.
but the loss to LSU was a rebuilding year and a game they should not have been invited to. This year's team is good and will show you why in a few weeks.
Now how can you argue that point? Biased and flawed, when you used the words "should not have." And rebuilding year huh? See fact #3 again: best defense in the country. I guess you must not take stats into account.

Yes, I agree with this entirely. In big time games he can shine but he isn't as consistent with his pocket passes.
This year's buckeye D is not as good as past years (even though they are #3 by the #'s) and the weak non conference opponents made it look better than it is.
Totally, I don't know why opposers can't see how this line is inflated towards the Buckeyes.

2-5 in last year's PAC-10 bowls does stand out to me. There are just 2 differences this year from the last: Stanford is a powerhouse now with Andrew Luck, and Chip Kelly is just doing a better overall coaching job with Oregon. Good luck to all betting with me.
