Give me a break David Letterman..quit being babies and take the God damn bowl.  You played with a 100+ ranked schedule, with your opponents combining for a 54-88 record...you really expected a BCS birth??

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, a playoff system wouldn't even help that cause!

And no less, you 'would' have played Boise St (12-0), who isn't exactly crying the BCS blues.  Sure, they get to play at home, but it's not exactly a cross-country trip for your fans to make. 

At least the AD at BSU pulled the "unfair away game" card.  That, and too much travel seems to be a very lousy, stupid excuse. 

This would have been one of the premier Bowl matchups on the entire schedule.  Instead, because you feel sorry for yourselves, you take away the seniors last chance to achieve something.  Revenue for the school, and among other things...A BOWL WIN.  Something that doesn't come all that easy to Ballsack St of recent.

I'm just glad Texas and other snubs--whether it be the title game or just a BCS birth--aren't acting like this.

Now the pity party catches up to you babies in Detroit tonight.  You deserved to lose this one. 

At least we know one team on that field will show some heart.
