You really shouldn't give these guys the wrong figures.
Since 2000, this trend is 2129-2108-117 ATS, almost exactly 50%. Home team that lost first game that they played. Let me know if you have something different, I would contest it.

I'm finally gonna add my two cents to this nonsense...
First of all I have to say that I always find alot of value in your threads/stats gcnmoo and find them to be very valuable The work you put in is amazing and deserves recognition.
But Bandos started this thread trying to identify a trend, situation, whatever you want to call it that may be of value to the forum plain and simple. BTL has worked very hard tracking and posting plays taking in account the many scenarios/situations posted by others in the thread. While the stats you have show that it has only been successful for 51% of the time since 1990, I for one havent been playing this angle since then and would obviously be broke had I done so. As with all things gambling, streaks/trends experience highs and lows eventually middling themselves out in the end and thats ALWAYS going to happen. However, so far this season BTL's plays have been hitting at a profitable clip thus far and am thankful to have cashed in on them. Even if the "system" or whatever you want to call it balances out in the next month I will still be up money cause I've actually been using sound money management for a change. Other scenario is that it stays successful for the remainder of the year which is quite possible as I'm sure there were a few seasons since 1990 that hit far better than 51% and maybe this is one of them. Its fair to say no system works forever and if we followed these plays for another 20 years starting today I'm sure it will end up around 50%, but I'm following it now for a couple reasons: its been profitable thus far, it helps me look a little deeper into games, and I respect the work being put in.
So thanks BTL for your hard work and thanks gcnmoo for all the work you put it year after year . Now if we could just find a way to be civil and let both of your efforts help us win some money than we are all better off. So take a break my man and keep doing what youre doing cause its good stuff, but dont waste your time in a pissing contest cause we all take pisses and somedays your piss goes further than others. Heres to a successful Feb for all invovled
