SU winners: 20 OT record: 6-1 Record on the open: 28-23-1 Winners because of the Open: 4 Losers because of the Open: 1 Pushes because of the Open: 1
Notes: -Big day Saturday with too much to recap -Finally had a winning day, spotted an easy line on Vanderbilt and though I did not jump when I wanted to early it didn't move too far for me to play and they got a huge effort from Josh Henderson off the bench along with Dai-Jon Parker stroking it from outside. TAMU isn't a tournament team and they need to stop getting small lines on the road -Air Force lined up perfectly for me and I got more than I expected, but CSU played really well in a tough spot as great teams do. The game was a sellout and the star for AFA had 45 points, but it took a 3pt shot with 3 seconds left to push for me (win for most people who got a better number). I have now added "Pushes because of the Open" because I'm really interested in tracking how profitable that part is -So sad to see the final chapter of Duke-Maryland, though the open criticism that the ACC won't send Duke to College Park next year is great. I will go to the game if there's another one, may even write a letter to the ACC commissioner about having it -ESPN was really dumb to make Texas-KU the premier game as we got worked as expected. Funny to see black uniforms because Rick Barnes went on record before saying we would never wear black again after we lost by 41 to Duke probably 6 years ago
Guesses: MICH 22 LOU 10 WIS 3 Iowa 1.5 ARI 8 MIAfl 6.5 ILL 2 ILLst 1 Cal 6.5

WIS reasoning: -Don't think tOSU can guard Jared Berggren on the perimeter because Amir Williams and Evan Ravenel never leave the paint. That makes me think Thad Mata could try Deshaun Thomas on him, but that will put whatever 5 is playing on an even smaller shooter. The Kohl Center isn't as powerful as it used to be, but it's still important and the Badgers are a jumpshooting team who will take a bunch of deep shots. They tend to go in more often at home and even the fantastic Ohio State defense will struggle to contain a team that will shoot 3pt shots at every position.
Iowa reasoning: -Minnesota struggles to score on the road and Carver Arena is a crazy atmosphere that will make it tough on any team. Iowa scores a ton at home and plays with pace, while the Gophers want to grind it out. I'm not a fan of Tubby Smith as a coach, while Fran McCaffery has been impressive all the way back to his days at Siena where he built that program. The first matchup was a game Iowa could have easily won at The Barn (the game went to overtime), and I think this Iowa team is great but just won't be in the tournament because they have too many L's from not being able to close games out. Think they will close this one and start to get their resume stronger to at least be considered by the committee. Will be a B1G title contender next year...
