Malmö - Kalmar: Pick: Malmö -1 AH @ 2.10 (1/10)
Malmö comes from a couple of questionable performances, in fact their match against Kalmar last week was the most convincing one for a long time. Malmö returns at home now with a couple of newly signed players such as striker Agon Mehmeti (the supporter's favorite) and Isaac Thelin has scored in consecutive matches and will look forward to continue his form at home in front of the supporters.
Kalmar, They are now off to a 3-2-2 road record which is much weaker than their
4-4-0 at home, and in this sense it is fair to say that Kalmar are
struggling to find their consistency on the road games - in fact, Kalmar
have not won away in their last 4 matches, and this is a factor that
needs to improve.
With the game between these teams a week ago fresh in mind, Malmö were the better team and should definitely have won. With a boosted confidence from advancing in the Champions League, and the introduction of the new players - the team should get a lift as they prepare their form for the encounter with Sparta Prague next week, thereof this match is important and make sure the team is intact. I am not worried about the tight schedule or slow Malmö legs.. they are fresh because the coach have rotated very well, but Malmö are lining up a stong lineup here. _______________________
The Ljungskile team rank among the top in every category with
the best defense in the league (0.94 goals conceded per game) and the
team is also the second highest scoring side with 2.13 goals per game.
Their road record is solid where they sit on 3-4-1 overall. The
organization itself is in huge finance struggles, and a promotion to
Allsvenskan is the only thing that can save the club, perhaps is this
why the team has been overachieving so far. They arrive with a fresh squad, no injuries.
Östersund took on title candidates Sundsvall last week and brilliantly
took care of business when they ended up winning 3-1 against a very
solid Sundsvall side, and the Östersund starlet and top scorer Barrow
continued his season-show which has now attracted several clubs from
abroad. As an comparison, they are 4-2-2 at home this season but
are playing the best they have done all season right now.
With the fresh games in mind and current form, the teams appear perfectly equal. Ljungskile can not play like they did in the last game or else this will be another rough day in the sun. Östersund just took care of a top candidate last week, and here comes another one - similar situation, and on the home turf I have to give the slight advantage to Östersund as the more technically and faster team with more individual possible match winners playing on an impressive level at this stage of the season. _______________________
GAIS - Värnamo: Pick: GAIS @ 2.05 (1/10)
Gais are one of the most classic clubs in Sweden, they were relagated from Allsvenskan, and now find themselves at the relegation zone in Superettan as well which is not where they belong. They were hyped to be the clear promotion candidate, and in order to get out of the bad stretch, they hired the best coach Sweden has at the moment - Peo Ljung, from Örebro. He took over the team few weeks ago and led them to some surprising results immediately. Now as the team are getting more healthy, the results start to come as well. Every point is cruical now, the club needs to climb in the standings to avoid relegation, and I see some intentions they will start going on a winning stretch anytime.
Whatsoever, Värnamo are not a side that belong to the upper half, even if they have surpised this year. They lost against Landskrona last game 3-1 (note that Landskrona are one of the worst team in the league) thereof, a road game against a desperate GAIS side, who have just found their form - this is a must 3-pointer for GAIS, and Värnamo should be without much of a chance over 90 minutes. Liking the price a lot, should not be more than 1.70 in my opinion.

@Blue - If I had to say one game out of those to go over 2.5, It's most likely Landskrona vs Värnamo but it only pays 1.65, however if you find the "over 3" line you get it at between +103 and +111

I like the GAIS play but do not agree with Malmo, which is my team. Their form is not good currently and they will definitely be looking forward to Wednesday's CL game away. I see a 1-1 draw here. They may nick the game by a goal but that is only a push so I won't bother with that.

As a Malmö native it's my team as well, glad you're with us You're right, it's an important away game in the Champions League coming up for them, however what made me lean towards Malmö this time is the fact that they are superior to Kalmar in head to heads recently, think they have around 6 games without losing against them. The schedule has been tight for Malmö, but they're not showing signs of being too worn out - they have rotated nicely and this game includes 4 newly signes players: Mehmeti, Tinnerholm, Enoch Kofi and Thelin - it will reinforce some freshness into the squad, should be seen as an important preparation for the CL game next week.A loss or draw here might cost Malmö their title in Allsvenskan, the gap keeps getting more narrow each round, so they better win this one.

1-1-1 on the day, and a slight +0.10 unit profit thanks to Malmö winning convincingly 3-1 covering the -1 Asian Handicap
GAIS opened brilliantly, but fell asleep midway and allowed two goals from nowhere, they run a big risk being relegated if they don't go on a winning streak soon, but losing to one of the worst organized teams in the league is not acceptable.
Östersund were the better side again and "only" got 1-1 against the second placed Ljungskile..
Once again, even though the mini profit, it's getting really frustating to be on the dominating side who can't capitalize on the scoring chances.. GAIS, Östersund, both dominating heavily but manage to concede.
