the story of tonights game will be how romo and the cowboys will continue their let down in decembers .... not just because of the past but more so because romo will be dealing with frigid cold in chicago ... temps are supposed to be 15 degrees and romo with his offense is so accustomed to putting up their big numbers in the dome will suddenly look out of touch ... i know the cowboys may seem more desperate with the eagles winning and having only more win than the bears but i expect to see a motivated bears team tonight knowing that they can expect cutler back next week and they are only a game out of the north with the inconsistencies of detroit. if this game was played in dallas it would be over city but in this atmosphere ... i expect a horrible showing by the cowboys in prime time and the bears toughness gets the job done tonight.

Romo played at Eastern Illinois in college and played high school ball in cold weather too...Cold weather wont effect HIM...Its professional football and these guys are pro athletes - it will play a small part but nothing substantial...Bears are desperate as is Dallas, will be a tight game imo but if Dallas scores one either of the first 2 drives (a TD that is) I think they carry the momentum into a high scoring win...I'll predict Dallas does score on one of those drives and wins Dal 30 Chi 23

Every thread on here has the same old narrative. Romo chokes n sucks in December so go with the Bears. Do any of u guys do your own research or do u just listen to what the media tells you? Well here is one thing u won't hear on BSPN. Romo has the highest passer rating at of all QB's in the month of December since the year 2000. That's right folks, better then Brady both Manmings Rogers and every other QB that has played in the NFL since 2000

i'm not concerned about the december stats ... i would be more concerned about how romo has played in freezing temps, a lot of those dec games have been in his comfort zone at home ... there is a small population and it doesn't look good ... he did manage a win against the horrible giants but why are we discounting the bears like the outcome of tonight ALL lies on how romo will play ...
... mccown has actually be terrific as the bears back up ...
bears pick em at home on a monday night ...
bears actually have been great in prime time games this year
they are 4-2 at home and their two loses came against division leaders
bears are 15th against the pass while the boys are 32nd
bears are 10 and 6 places better in the passing and rushing categories than the boys .....
those above are just some of the reasons why i am taking the pick em at home tonight .... we can't just disect romo in this game but have to look at the bears as a team whose qb has a 9/1 td/into ratio ... put up back to back 350 yard games .... this team has enough in them defensivley to beat the better teams and the romo in the cold is just a starting point on why thebears win tonight.
