Four weeks remain for Bundesliga betting, so time is running out to get value in German soccer odds.

Just as time is running out for Bundesliga teams with tournament aspirations to acquire as many points as possible – and two teams battling for the final Champions League berth are in the spotlight this week. Borussia Monchengladbach sit fourth in the table and own the tiebreaker with Bayer Leverkusen via goal differential, but are tasked with facing red-hot Bayern Munich, while Leverkusen tangle with struggling Schalke 04.

Here are our best Bundesliga predictions, betting tips and soccer picks for Matchday 31.

Bundesliga Predictions for Matchday 31

Hoffenheim v. RB Leipzig

Friday, June 12 - 2:30 PM ET

RB Leipzig have been one of the most impressive teams in the Bundesliga since returning from the two-month COVID-19 hiatus, but things could have been so much better as the third-place club visit Hoffenheim on Saturday. Leipzig have earned nine points through five games since the break (two victories, three draws), but had to settle for single points in back-to-back home games after going down a man in both contests.

Such behavior is out of character for a Leipzig side that has just three red cards for the entire season. Having shown impressive form in consecutive away victories – trouncing Mainz and FC Koln by a combined 9-2 tally – it would surprise few to see Leipzig bounce back with a more disciplined effort Friday at Hoffenheim. We like the visitors to prevail and the Over to convert in what is shaping up to be a high-scoring affair.

Pick: RB Leipzig and Over 3.5 (+160)

Bayern Munich v. Borussia Monchengladbach

Saturday, June 13 - 12:30 PM ET

We don’t like Monchengladbach’s chances of earning three points in Saturday’s daunting match against a host Bayern Munich club that has won nine consecutive games. Bayern haven’t missed a beat since returning to Bundesliga play, reeling off five straight wins while outscoring the competition by a 17-4 margin. With another Bundesliga championship on the horizon, we don’t see the home side taking their foot off the pedal against a worthy opponent.

The key, then, is finding the best wager: neither the Bayern Munich moneyline bet nor a Robert Lewandowski anytime goal return much of a payoff. While it might be tempting to lean on Lewandowski for a brace, Monchengladbach held him off the scoresheet entirely in their previous tilt. But given that Bayern have held a halftime edge in all five of their post-break games, we see a nice profit opportunity in a Bayern double this weekend.

Pick: Bayern Munich half-time/full-time (-110)

Schalke 04 v. Bayer Leverkusen

Sunday, June 14 - 12:00 PM ET

While Bayern Munich continues to roll through the competition, Schalke have also picked off where they left off – and not in a good way – as they look to get back on the winning track Sunday against Bayer Leverkusen. The hosts have earned just one point in their five-game return to action, and haven’t earned a victory of any kind since Feb. 4. What’s more, they’ve scored a pitiful four goals in 11 games across all competitions since their previous victory.

High-scoring games have been plentiful since teams returned from the lengthy break, but we’ve still seen 25 clean sheets in 45 games over that span. And while Bayer Leverkusen have some work to do on the defensive end after looking dreadful in last week’s 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich, they blanked Freiburg the previous week and still rank sixth in the Bundesliga in goal prevention. The conditions are ripe for a shutout from the road team.

Pick: Bayer Leverkusen clean sheet (+137)
