Where is the Spanish Grand Prix taking place?
The Spanish Grand Prix will be taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The usual home of winter testing (with the exception of this season), the drivers will be very familiar with the track and comfortable taking on the high-speed corners throughout the 16-turn circuit. Multiple long straightaways, including the start/finish straight, allow for plenty of passing.
F1 Spanish Grand Prix tips and picks
Tip: Lando Norris Top-6 Finish - Yes (+100)
In an exciting young season that has seen a competitive battle at the top and a crowded midfield battle, no one has impressed more than McLaren's Lando Norris. Currently third in the Drivers' Championship standings, Norris has been superb every race and is clearly outperforming his new teammate, and one of the best drivers on the grid, Daniel Ricciardo.
Norris ended up qualifying in ninth on Saturday, which gives us the chance to take him at plus-money to finish in the Top-6 — which we feel good about, as there's reason to believe Norris can overtake several of the cars between him and a Top-6 finish.
Norris's teammate, Ricciardo, will start seventh, but McLaren will not hesitate to let Norris through if he is quicker early in Sunday's race, as they did earlier in the year, and he has had the better pace between the two teammates all season.
Meanwhile, Ferrari's Carlos Sainz is starting in sixth, two spots behind teammate Charles Leclerc. As happened last week, Leclerc will get the better strategy and Sainz will suffer for it. Alpine's Esteban Ocon, starting fifth, has been strong all season but the Alpine has not shown better pace than the McLaren and Norris should be able to overtake him if given the opportunity in either DRS zone.
With such a convoluted midfield to begin 2021, we are happy picking and choosing the surest things with worthwhile odds. Early in 2021, there have been few drivers more surefire on Sunday than Norris.
Tip: Fastest Lap - Valtteri Bottas (+250)
A thrilling start to the 2021 season got a bucket of cold water poured on it with last weekend's precisional race at the front. In a reminder of how boring the title race was last season, Lewis Hamilton won the Portuguese Grand Prix by 29 seconds over Max Verstappen, while Valterri Bottas came in third, over four seconds behind Verstappen.
The insurmountable lead the front three held led to a standard practice in recent years: the second- and third-place cars pitting for new tires at the end of the race, in an attempt to push for the fastest lap and receive the extra point for doing so. Bottas ended up earning that extra point, due to Verstappen's fastest lap time being deleted because of track limits.
The Spanish Grand Prix is, often, similarly quiet at the front, with the race winner likely to beat the rest of the grid by at least half a minute. As recent history has proven, Hamilton owns the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which will leave Verstappen and Bottas to battle for the fastest lap. At +250 for Bottas, as opposed to +225 for Verstappen, we are backing Mercedes power.
Tip: Straight Tricast - Lewis Hamilton 1st, Max Verstappen 2nd, Valtteri Bottas 3rd (+225)
After Saturday's qualifying resulted in the 100th pole of Lewis Hamilton's incredible career, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen second and Hamilton's Mercedes teammate Bottas third, there are few better bets for Sunday than this one. Hamilton-Verstappen-Bottas is the most common trio to share a podium in Formula 1 history and it's shaping up to be another Sunday ending with those three sharing the steps.
Despite none of the three putting in their best laps to close out Q3 on Saturday, Bottas still finished nearly eight-tenths of a second up on fourth place Charles Leclerc. There is already, seemingly, a massive gap in race pace between the front three and the rest of the grid, and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will allow for huge gaps between cars during the race.
We're getting good odds on the 1-2-3 in qualifying to cross the finish line in that same order, and we're all over it.

How to bet on Formula 1
The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include on which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.
F1 race odds usually look like this:
- Sebastian Vettel +650
This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $650 if Vettel wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:
- Lewis Hamilton -175
This means that you would need to bet $175 to win $100 on Hamilton winning the race.
