i saw him about 10 years ago at the Ga Theatre in Athens and he played 5 or 6 talking heads tunes--once in a lifetime was killer. there is a good bootleg from '79 in boston that is floating around that is fantastic. i got it on a cassette tape back in the 90's before the internet started. (damn that sounds ancient) really great recording. better that any of their albums. i used to play it on college radio. i wonder if i can find it now in my house? probably not...

Read Keith Richards book "life". that will give everyone real good insight as to what was happening during the recording of all their great albums. Exile is the best, but record collectors really like goat heads soup, which i do also, Angie is the hit on that one. Man those dudes did a lot of drugs and screwed a lot of euro models. I would trade my gambling life for that in a second!!

Disorder is a killer tune. it is on the black JD LP. awesome band. never made it to the USA because singer killed himself 1 week before they were supposed to leave for a US tour. I even bought a '81 Rick 4001 bass guitar because that is what peter hook played in new order (cherry burst finish).

man, i just don't know how to call this one. he looks like he is finished. but then again, he is the greatest we have seen in the modern day of the game. colin cowherd think he was on PED's and that might be a valid point. he has lost the X factor that he once had and i'm not sure he will ever find it again. we might be watching a tv program in the future about the biggest fall from grace.

i heard that the total is 52. under is the play for me. i think this game will start slow and ugly, score some in the 2nd half.

good blog here. i most likely won't play this game but i do think that boise will be in for a long day because they grow the linemen big and strong (and heavy) in the south. teams like nevada don't have players like that. plus boise are going to get tired of being hit hard by big strong black dudes all night. thats what happened in '05 and they even knocked mr. statue of liberty out of the game. i was there. they didn't have the same type of athletes. it was obvious.

hey boom, i went over to clemson 2 weeks ago for the first time and it seems like a cool place with a lot of hot chicks. i like that bar that has the stained glass with the tiger sitting on top of a mug of beer.

boise is real good. if they do beat an sec team to start the year look out. gameday will talk about it at length and that will give them the boost to play for it all if they sweep the board. on the other hand it will give the ga coach one foot out the door since he is already on the hot seat and the sec will view it as an embarrassing loss for the conference, etc.
