I just don't think the Eagle defense is built the right way to dismantle the Saints offense to any large degree. In order to do that, the Saints offensive line would have to be defeated regularly throughout the game. Can't see Philadelphia doing that. Which leaves me with Philadelphia having to win a high scoring type of game to cover. Unless they get some gift scores, I don't see their offense keeping up with the Saints offense in playoff game. Payton and Brees are brilliant at scheming for and exploiting match up advantages. There's far too many possibilities for those between these two teams. I'm betting that New Orleans will not miss those opportunities on a playoff week. |

Minnesota beats Tampa Bay. Don't ask why. Just bet the mortgage.

Upset special of the week. Houston is soft and viewed too highly because they put up alot of points. I believe SoMiss will limit it's mistakes and out score Houston. Their talent matches up well.

Pro-Z, u just like the points or KC for the outright win? Skins pattern this year is to beat the weak sisters at home. I think that continues.

I'm having a hard time seeing UW keep this within 3 TD's. I see where people are saying Huskies have alot of experience back, but that experience is horrible. Particularly on defense and the O-Line. Half of Willigham's roster was division 1-AA talent. Biggest thing going for UW is the scheme factor. Only because LSU is probably uncertain about how to prepare for the new coaching staff's ideas on both sides of the ball. Locker is a threat and moreso of one not knowing what he's been up to in the off season. Just based on raw athletic and football ability up and down the roster, LSU is 5 TD's better, though.

I don't think Fister holds up well, either. Santana can be electric or horrible. So who knows about the game, but I like the Over. Beltre is also back tonight. I'm thinking if Santana gets any kind of wild, Seattle will be able to score enough to support an Over.

Huddy is too savvy for young fish lineup. Braves win.

Not feeling too confident about the M's tonight. Injuries to their lineup is starting to catch up to them. Still not sure if Ichiro is back and Branyan is gone for awhile. They've been scrappy as hell this year and maybe they eke this one out, but I can't recommend it. Sweeney could be the key. He's been hot over the weekend. Maybe he can damage Saunders.

I think the M's are a good play here. I like the way the coaching staff has worked with Snell. He seems receptive to the slight slow down they've requested in his delivery. His mind is very unpredictable, though. If things go badly, he makes them worse. I say he puts in a good outing against a bad team. Seattle should crack Meche for enough runs. Although, I'm not sure Branyan or Ichiro are going to play. I'm thinking Snell and the pen hold down K.C. enough for a Seattle win.

M's fairly easily tonight. Felix is too good for Royals lineup. Branyan and a few others will blast Bannister. Take the Over, also.

If Hanson uses his secondary pitches well, this game will go Under. That's my bet.

Gotta disagree boys. KC offense has been respectable for Davies lately. Fister is not that great and the M's current 3 game winning streak is a bit of a mirage. Oak. was giving away the games in the last series. This is a great spot for a decent sized underdog to win straight up. While we're at it let's throw the Over in. This game will be a shoot out.

ChiSox facing an unknown to them and a fired up Boston pen due to Wagner-Papelbon tiff says to me they don't score much tonight. I really like the Under when I see 10 as the total here.

Phillies should hit at least 3 home runs off Morton. Even if Bucs get shut out this one goes over.

Why lay -156 on the road for a LAD team with a comfy divisional lead that is gearing down before the all star break? Not to say they can't win, but certain teams mentally go on break a little early each year. I'd lay off the Dodgers for the next week. Their asking prices are too high right now.

There's no data to suggest Pirates put up many on Cook. He'll go 6-7 innings for sure. Rockies pad their offensive stats from the frontrunner position when they're facing the worst of a staff. So the key here is for Snell to keep it close. I think he will because patience is what beats him. Rockies are too free swinging. They don't walk enough to exploit a guy who's prone to high pitch innings. The biggest risk here is that the Rockies pound the Pirates bullpen late, but since they havn't played well in close games this year I'll bet they don't. Somebody dare to prove me wrong.

I believe MSU makes this more competitive than Nova did. Nova kept putting UNC on the line. I don't see MSU doing that. UNC is also putting more energy into defense than they have all year and that brings fatigue into play. They were a bit lackluster in the 2nd half the other night. I worry that tired legs could start affecting their shots. If they hit a high % then they cover because I see alot of shots in this game. If not, MSU will be right there. Lastly, I feel confident that MSU will hit the O boards HARD. UNC will have to work more than usual to clean up rebounds and by doing so may lose some of their preferred high paced rhythm. %'s drop when your comfort zone is challenged. I'm taking the points.
