Teams who scored 40 points or more in a playoff game are 3-22-2 ATS in their next game since 1996. Tom Brady and the Pats are 0-3 ATS in their next game when scoring 40 or more points. In 2004 Pats beat Steelers in the conference title game 41-27. They were -7 in the Super Bowl against Philly. They won but failed to cover 24-21. In 2011 they beat Denver 45-10 in the divisional round They were -7 against the Ravens in the AFC title game. They won but failed to cover 23-20. In 2012 they beat Houston 41-28 in the divisional round. They were -8 versus the Ravens and lost the game out right 28-13. Last week they beat the Colts 43-22. Not a good omen

5 unit play, Saints +3. Brees is 34-26 ATS as an underdog. Eagles are 9-24 ATS at home since 2010. Finally a major trend goes against Nick Foles in this game. Quarterbacks making their first playoff start are 4-13 ATS at home and are 3-10 ATS when listed as the favorite. Go Saints.

Don't go crying about the officiating. It works both ways. Where was the flag when one of the 49ers drilled Flacco when he was clearly 3 yards out of bounds. As for the 4th down no call in the end zone, were you complaining two weeks ago when Navarro Bowman clearly interferred with Roddy White on 4th down at the 10 yardline on Atlanta's next to last possession. Admit it the 9ers got beat by the better team.

For the biggest factor of why im taking this play is not because the trends or past between these two teams When I saw Peyton come back from a 24-0 deficit this year vs San Diego
It convinced me that they have a viable chance at winning the Super Bowl this year
It was probably the most convincing comeback in NFL this year
If he's down 24-0 and still come back to cover the spread ....
He's got a arm and a good team to back him up
He will destroy Flacco this week |

Denver is a flat out better team and is playing at home. I am sure you used the same logic last year when you bet the Packers to beat the G-Men. How did that turn out for ya. Here is a tip. The better team doesn't always win, it's the team that wants it the most.

And they are happy that they are facing Baltimore in the divisional match up
Trust me they will destroy the ravens
Keep posting these assanine reasons why Denver is gonna win. "Trust me he wants to prove something to his family and his brother"It sounds to me like you are starting to whistle going by the grave yard. |

Ravens love playing the underdog, we don't get no respect card. Last year they were 7 point dogs against Brady and the Pats in the AFC title game and we saw how that turned out. If Lee Evans doesn't drop the TD pass with 14 seconds left they go to the Super Bowl. I am not saying the Ravens win the game but it will be a close game and 9 points is like stealing. A fact nobody brings up when talking about the great Peyton Manning. He took the Colts to the playoffs 11 times and went one and done 7 of those 11 times.

We all saw what Luck did against Tom Brady. Denver would beat them by at least 20 points. Colts and Luck get beat like a red headed stepchild tomorrow, 34-14.
I agree. Largest wager should be clear cut and no debate of buying points. Buying points shows that you don't have full confidence in the play, therefore you should reconsider the play with the doubt they win a squeaker and that 1/2 pt coming into play. Colts 2-0 over Ravens in Playoffs. |

So post the playand the maximum line you would lay. If you weren't an attention seeking person you would judt post the play on Saturday and not make thew announcement 2 days in advance.

Going to the game tonight and I am taking a raincoat. Hasn't rained all day but they are calling for a 60% chance of thunderstorms, between 1/4 and 1/2 inch of rain possible

Agree with you 100%. The only play to me is the Eagles. Last 2 years Ravens opened with a win over a tough opponent (Steelers and Jets) then proceeded to go on the road in week 2 and lose to and inferior Bengals and Titans team. Vick looked horrendous last week but the odds are he will bounce back and have a decent game. Am not impressed with the Ravens run defense and I am afraid McCoy runs for over 100 yards which will open the passing game. I also agree that the look ahead factor could come into play. You know the Ravens circled the Sept. 23 game against the Pats on their calendar to exact revenge for losing the AFC title game last year, just like they did last year when they blew Pittsburgh out in the firsat game of the season getting even for losing the playoff game to them in 2010. The only way I see the Ravens winning this game if they do so in a shootout, which I don't think will happen. Eagles win this one 27-20, IMO

You guys are all assholes. Do you think the linemakers in Vegas know Proince is out? Indiana has beaten Chicago twice this year already, with Prince playiing. Now with Prince out you would seriously exoect Indiana to be some type of favorite, I know I certainly did. Instead Chicago is a 2-3 point favorite with all the suckers jumping on Indiana. Don't cry too hard when you get your asses handed to you today, yow were warned.

Chicago -2' over Indiana. This will be Indiana's 3rd roadie since Sunday. They lost in Atlanta tonight, will get on a plane and fly to Chicago, probably get into their hotel room about 1:00 a.m. They then turn around and have an 11:30a.m. tipoff against a pretty good Chicago team.

Edge = New England Totally disagree about Belechick being the best coach. His record before he stumbled on Tom Brady was 41-55. I think he is an average coach who got very lucky with a 6th round draft pick. |
