Kyle Walker is terrible, too many give-aways, Gallas is not far behind. Friedl constantly kicks the ball to the other team, Defoe needs to produce more chances rather than waiting for them to come to him, because of that, Adebayor had no-one to work with. Incidently, on the site that tracks the distance each player covers (how much mileage did he run), Adebayor was WAY ahead of any other 'spur. They deserved to move on, but AVB better rethink a few things if expects to move on.
And Lloris would have stopped 2 of those goals..

Thomas gets hit by the puck more than he saves the shots (ala Mike Richter) probably because he and his pads are so wide. He let a lot of iffy goals in against Tampa. Yes, he has got good numbers in the finals, but the Conn Smythe is for the ENTIRE playoffs.

If it was Bieksa or Chara, I would have been interested to see if they would have gotten suspended. I think most of the damage was done because his head hit the ice. And even though Rome's shoulder hit Horton in the head, I don't think it was a headshot. A Torres play late in the game was an attempted head shot because he extended his elbow. Torres missed and nobody is talking about it. That's also part of the problem nowdays. Back to Rome...on that type of play, there is nowehere else to hit him. He didn't raise the shoulder or elbow. Scott Stevens made a living off those hits. Horton was caught admiring his pass so some fault is on him but did Rome really have to make that hit? Puck was gone, player wasn't looking...can't criticize the suspension given these circumstances. I agree with some other guys though...these elbow pads cant be so hard. Equipment needs to be looked at. I was about to say the same thing about Scott Stevens. Same for Gary Roberts, he's considered a hero for his competitiveness, yet 95% of his hits were very late (and usually from behind).

He floats around like the new Mike Modano...(he probably gets a bonus if they don't have to wash his uniform, he never breaks a sweat). And he should be embarassd at the foolish head-snap to get a penalty called on Bieksa. Did you notice the stick-in-the-face Cody Hodgson got? Did he flop like a gaffed salmon in the back of the boat? Nope. Don't expect Geritol Joe to pull this one off. He's a floater, and the Bruins only mistake was to fire O'Connell for trading him, because it actually wasn't O'Connel who made the decision, it was Mr. Burn..er Al Davis... I mean Harry Sinden........whatever, same guy.

Dear Ryan Clough: you don't scare anyone and when you score, perhaps you should show some emotion, like maybe someone else helped you or had something to do with it. You are NOT the next coming of Al Secord or Clark Gillies or anyone who had a scoring touch who was also tough. You don't skate well, you don't pass well, you can't skate backwards (or be defensive at all). So lose the smug look. And sucker punch someone who might fight back. You wouldn't have done that to Rypien (who showed what a "coward" Eager was many times) or Glass, or anyone who matched your height and/or weight.
This rant may not belong in this thread, but I had to say it somewhere. Cheers to the Sharks who ARE tough (through play and gamesmanship). Clough and Eager aren't. Just hacks.

"know call". Plain and simple. [/Quote]You really are a moron. "Know call" ???? Well, that hit from behind into the boards was similar to Ben "not-so" Eager"s (remember him ducking Rypien?) hit from behind into the boards on Sedin when the Sharks were being humiliated. Why was that not a call? A deliberate intent to injure (yet he couldn't finish, perhap's that's why he was scratched tonight) Drips like you make this place interesting.

They never have to wash his uniform because he never breaks a sweat, never hits, avoids any contact, and flutters around like a moth in a fluorescent light shop. Tough for him Vancouver doesn't have any 68 year-old cab drives he can punch slap.
