I have a buddy who works at a casino near OKC who says the same thing about Durant and Westbrook. He says Durant is so nice that he's almost "nerdlike" and Westbrook is a total asshole.

How did this happen in OK? I could see it happening in a liberal state like CA or WA but not in OK. His attorney should be disbarred. Those punks came into his store and pulled guns on him. They deserve what they got. This is a complete travesty. |

I read earlier today that the poker sites involved (Full Tilt, Poker Stars, and Absolute Poker) were "seized by the FBI" and not accessible but tonight I'm able to play poker at Full Tilt. Anyone have any insight on the above comments which I read at numerous news outlets?

Gonna try and make a few quick bucks off FAZ again. Bought in again today at 22.10.

Sold my FAZ at 25.70 this am to lock in a profit on the shares I picked up last wk.
I tend to have the same feeling as wallstreet above about the market going higher. Also found the prospectus rec'd from Direxion earlier this wk interesting in that it clearly states on the cover their leveraged ETFs are "short term trading vehicles".

Nice move by Blockbuster(BBI) today. Too bad I never bought it down around .65 like I was close to doing on several occasions.

Pete: I only made the comment above because of a shot you took at me in last month's trading thread after I bought FAZ. I haven't even read most of your posts but based on the few I've read it looks like you've got some strong opinions but you're more comfortable "ridin the fence".

Bought FAZ this a.m. at 23.70. I like the argument that the financials are overbought at this level and after reading BAC's comments about their settlement with the SEC related to the Merrill Lynch bonuses I like rooting against them.

Based on some of the prices that I saw in the Sports Guy's (Bill Simmons at ESPN) column last wk it looks like there is still quite a market for sports collectables other than baseball cards.

I missed getting an order filled at 8.50 by pennies yesterday. Looks like I'll have to step up the order to try and ride this one up.

I bought FRPT at 4.95 after the MRAP disappointment so I hope it rebounds.

Nice day in the market today. Anyone got an opinion on TWI? I read yesterday where one of the top funds continues to load up on this one which prompted me to look at it. Below are some comments from the CEO made back in April about 1st qtr results. I love his "Katie bar the door" reference.
Large farm tires and wheels were selling well in the first quarter of 2009, along with Titan’s new super giant mining tires,” said Titan Chairman and CEO Maurice M. Taylor Jr. “It is difficult to predict what will happen moving forward. The price of corn is holding and soybeans are up, so the agricultural market looks good, but are the farmers going to keep buying with all the uncertainty in the economy? I don’t know. The orders for second quarter are good, but lead times are much shorter today than six months ago. All of Titan’s material costs are dropping except nylon,” said Taylor.
“There is no shortage of giant mining tires today and pricing has dropped by at least 25 percent because of the drop in material costs. Natural rubber is projected to drop from approximately eighty cents today to fifty cents by the end of the year. In September 2008 it was one dollar and fifty-two cents. “The great news in all of this is that it’s time everyone really gets down to working hard and smart. Since Titan has been running at an SG&A level of five to seven percent, we are set to grow our market share. Titan will be making improvements in every product we make, and I will be visiting every customer I am able to this year. Titan can use this environment in order to grow our market share, but if this economy turns up, then ‘Katie bar the door,’ for the good times will be back,” said Taylor. |

Looks like nobody started a new thread yesterday.
Bought FRPT this am at 4.95. Just think this one is way oversold after it didn't get the MRAP contract in Afghanistan. Still alot to like about this company.

Rink Rat: It probably won't have much affect on your trade but I bailed on OCNF about a month or so ago in the 1.70 range after reading the annual rpt and the BOD proposal to dilute the common and preferred. I see now they've amended the proposal and only want to dilute the common.
Good luck with this one. I saw potential but the dilution plans reminded me too much of DRYS to stick it out.
