I'm actually stunned VT is only a 3 point favorite. I expect about -6.5 and I still would have taken them in a heartbeat. Biggest play of the bowl games for me. Not sure about that USC game, they will be very disappointed to be playing Illinois, and unless Pete can motivate them somehow, they most likely will come out flat, whereas Illinois will be as pumped as ever. Might have to take the points in that game, but if USC comes ready to play it could definatly get ugly. Georgia is in a very similar spot, but Georgia is probably just plain too good for Hawaii, and Hawaii isn't the same team when they aren't at home. The over seems like the best play in the Ok St- IU game, IU will put up alot of points with one of the best receivers in the nation (James Hardy) lined up against a terrible defense. GL Bobby

UH allowed 216 and 261 yds rushing to Nevada and Washington...enter Mr. Moreno. Bulldogs handled Boise St a couple years ago 48-13 and Alabama held Hawaii to 17 last year (22-3 in the 3rd) and have little doubt that a good quick defense can contain Brennan and get in a couple good shots to the head. Rout. Va Tech 30 Kansas 17 - feeling this game goes similar to games against A&M and Colorado (both on grass) as far as the Kansas offense goes (except VT obviously has much better defense than those rat bastards). Hokies offensive line and 2 headed QB has shown lately it can score against good defenses and special teams or defense may add a score. GL BOB |

i agree about paterno being great, but i worry that morelli and this offense cant put up more than 24 and this game is in texas.....just wondering if they really deserve to be -5.5 also wanted your thoughts on a couple of other games ...... cincy -11 vs so miss.....so miss has been shakey all year and the coach is quiting.....cicny can force turnovers and have a decent offense...this looks like a blowout to me.... florida -10 vs michigan.....michigan senoirs have never won a bowl game....carr is an inept coach and will be outclassed by urban meyer and i dont think the wolverines can stop tebow...on the other side, i think the gators can pressure henne and force turnovers... mizzou/arkansas over 69.5.....this will probably be my biggest play....arkansas will not be able to stop the tigers and the tigers will not stop mcfadden and crew.... gl this bowl season bro, u are a true asset here...

[/Quote Insight you are right. OSU will beat LSU and Wisky will beat Tenn. The better coach's in these two games aill be from the big ten. It is true that the SEC team's have better player's but that's where it stops. If JT and BB had the althetes that LM and PF had it wouldn't be a fucking contest. However, these coach's will have a better game plan and a month to prepare.

You missed the whole point of this exercise - but thanks anyway for the lesson on the true meaning of lines. Simple question, who would you bet on at a PK against every other team in the country, and who would be the second team?

Not to mention the SEC, Big Ten, ACC etc. IMO point spreads are for us bettors and don't provide any logically or ill-logically fact's who will win or lose any game. If you have any doubts about my last statement, ask any of the seven or eight team's who were ranked 2nd this past college football season.
Im not saying USC is going to get in the game in the current system. I am saying that they would be favored over everyone in the country. Do you agree? And if you do, arent they the best team in the country?

No. Tex, -2.5, You are playing possible the worst team in the ncaa, you better win
C. Florida, - 7, the much better team, they actually have a Defense that does not suck. They also will wear down the D of Tulsa with the running game of Smith and co.

Do you get the feeling Arkansas boosters and alumni think they are better than what they really are?
in College Football I agree with you 100%. I am a Badger fan but also a fan of coach Nutt. HE Has done an outstanding job with the talent he has. If I was LSU'S AD I'll hire him in a minute.
