The Texans slept on the Jags last week like the rest of the world not expecting Gabbert to get knocked out as well as Henne coming in and doing what he did. With that said, you can't blame them for allowing the Jags to take them to overtime and giving up so many points. Preparation is everything. Short week..texas to detroit is a decent flight for the Texans. The lions get to stay put in Detroit. I don't think the flight will matter, but it doesn't help the case for the Texans. They also played 41 minutes of offense and 31 minutes of defense while Detroit played 30 and 30. Andre Johnson 19 targets 14 receptions, Graham 9 and 8, Daniels 9 and 6. This receiving core is only human..they have to be tired. Expect a running game plan from the Texans and expect Stafford to be Stafford. He's not going to change. We know who he is and if they can come up with a game plan for Megatron (good teams do), they will limit them. UNDER PLEASE.

How about that illegal block in the back on the fumble call that led to the critical chicago td? Under backers never had a chance.

When you get the public mind on the under, take the over and watch your pocket rise. Under backers on the usc/ucla caught some pretty bad breaks on Saturday; if you had it you know you're still salty over that one. Sorry about that. OVER here please. Many many people love the hard-nosed physical football that both the Niners and the Bears put out there and I understand your first thought of a 17-14 game with Cutler out and Smith not 100%. However, most want to see some scoring. Last week was a snoozer and you can count on the refs to provide some scoring this week. If the score is 7-3 in the 2nd quarter, too many people will turn off their sets until they think the 4th quarter is resuming. The NFL will want to stir it up tomorrow night to get peoples juices flowing for Thursday. Don't ask how because as you have seen, there is no statistical logic that should go into any Monday night game. Its all about the dollar. A couple special teams plays help the teams get into the endzone as well as a couple generous pass interference calls. Jason Campbell is the best backup in the league..they got him for this very reason of fearing of losing Cutler to a piss poor o line and they will be prepared against a very good defense. The 49ers are my team and I know my Niners. They shutout and beat down bad teams; not contenders. Campbell or not, theyll give up plays.

2 lucky return TDs and the under still comes in with a relaxed feel from the start of the 3rd. Good work under backers

The Dolphins hung it up while getting blown out by the Titans early to rest for this game while the Bills played high scoring division rival affair that happens to be a super bowl caliber team. Miami here and the under. The under is probably the sure win. Hopefully people keep taking these overs because not only have the elements been nice for under backers on primetime games, but the refs aren't letting teams score either.

Love the comments. Of course I'm going to come on here and see all the Pitt hype. How easy is it to come up with a little bs analysis on how bad KC is and how good Pitt is? Doesn't mean shit. Tomlin keeps this game close out of respect for a fellow African American coach and the Chiefs lose by 3, but give a respectable performance.

Is it just one of those games where there's nothing Vegas can do? I don't see how the Jags can score, but then again, Thursday night anything can happen. The objective of Thursday is to get through the game without too many injuries. After Luck throwing for 400+ on Sunday, I could see the Colts trying to fit in some sort of a running game while making the objective chewing up as much time as possible. I heard something about Pagano saying he's gonna meet with Luck this week to talk about the short week. Against one of the top 2 worst teams in the league, (jags/chiefs) then you'd think the main topic of that conservation could be clock management/time of possession. I'll go under hoping for a 24-7 game.

Nice call on the under guys. Anytime there is a 80%+ consensus on this forum, fade it. You'll go at least 60% over the course of a season.
