Sorry....but they will surely need a visit from Jesus himself to perform a miracle on the field. Otherwise....they just ain't up to the task at hand. |

This game is really so easy to cap. ND barely squeaks by a mediocre Purdue team 20-17. They beat an only average Mich St team 20-3. They beat an average Michigan team 13-6. They beat an average to good BYU team 17-14. They beat an OU team coached by clowns 30-13. Then squeaked by an average Pitt team 29-26 in 3 OTs. And finally beat an already beaten USC team without it's QB 22-13. In those 7 games they averaged an impressive 21.5pts per game. If they've done anything else this season someone please enlighten us. Tonight ND is playing Alabama...of the SEC...who is looking to claim their 3rd title in 4 years...and who will be by far the best team ND has faced....in probably the last 5 years. The spread is a paltry 10 points. Now.....who do you take? |

Oklahoma football: Mike Stoops says Sooners didn't have players to keep up with ManzielAny school recruiting against Stoops next year needs to show this article to that recruit and ask him....do you want to play for a coach that has your back....or one that will stab you in the back? |

Stoops might occasionally win a bowl if it's The Copper or The Citrus or The WeedEater. But put him in the Orange, Rose, Fiesta, Cotton or Sugar and he will do what he always does. He will garbage the bed like a hippo with diarrhea.

Stoops doesn't give a flip about tradition. When there was talk about Texas leaving the Big 12 he said it didn't matter. Didn't care if OU played Texas every year. He's still viewed as an outsider in Norman by those who matter. And it will always be that way because he just can't measure up. Stoops isn't emotional enough to hate anything except how he gets beat like a drum in almost every big game. In fact I can't think of a single "big game" he's won in 10 years. Big Game Bob is a joke. Kevin Sumlin will coach rings about this village idiot tonight. |

Personally I think A&M puts big pressure on Happy Feet Jones and OU will see it's share of 3andOuts. Likewise I think the OU D does show up occasionally.....thus the UNDER pick. As for the spread.....I believe it will be competitive but giving up only 3 and considering Sumlin coaching against Stoops (2 of em now) I look for BGB to find a way to give up the winning TD in the final 2 minutes. A&M 35 OU 28 |

I gotta claim AP even though he is not of the bygone era. But he is just so special. He is one of a very few in the Stoops era that can carry the torch. And of course Sam Bradford. But Adrian Peterson was a man among boys in the same mold as Marcus Dupree. Thanks for remembering. |

However you have omitted many of the true greats. Joe Washington...Stanley Wilson...Kenny King...George Cumby...Scott Hill...Steve Davis...Steve Rhodes....Marcus Dupree...Leroy Selmon...Jamelle Holieway...David Overstreet...Darrell Shepard...Derrick Shepard...Adrian Peterson...Keith Jackson...Tony Casillas...Jack Mildren....
Sorry for those other greats i've omitted.

I just noticed that Kingsbury isn't coaching the the team tonight. So let me make this adjustment. Instead of scoring 72 put TT down for 59. That means Minny needs to put up 46 to push. |
