Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 pre-race favorites
Martin Truex Jr. (+550)
Truex Jr. walked away victorious here last year and will look to go back to back on Sunday. Oddsmakers believe he has a shot at doing that with him as the betting favorite when markets opened up. Truex Jr. now sits third in the NASCAR Cup Series standings and has a real opportunity to vault himself into first place on Saturday.
Chase Elliott (+700)
Elliott will look to separate himself from Ryan Blaney in the NASCAR Cup Series standings where the two share first place with 241 points each. He'll look to get himself back on track this coming weekend after finishing 14th in Richmond. Elliott was the favorite to win last week and the story is no different here where he'll continue the chase for his first victory on the season at the same track he finished second last year.
Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano (+900)
Ryan Blaney just missed out on a Top-10 finish here last year and will look to continue his read hot season on Saturday. Oddsmakers believe he has a shot at doing that with him sitting tied for third with Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano. Blaney currently sits atop of the NASCAR Cup Series leaderboards tied with Elliott in points but has an additional Top-5 finish.
Busch will be looking to build off a ninth-place finish in Richmond over the weekend. Through seven Cup Series races this year Busch has only two Top-10 finishes so expect him to bring his best to the track on Saturday. Busch finished in the Top-10 here last year so we all know he can find success here so seeing him so far up on the odds board makes a lot of sense.
Denny Hamlin has had a very rough go this season but couldn't have found a better way to get back on track than winning at the Toyota Owners 400 over the weekend. He'll look to build on that race with another potential victory this weekend after finishing third here last season.
Joey Logano hasn't had a win yet this season but finds himself in fifth place for the NASCAR Cup Series and has a real chance to take home the win on Sunday. Logano finished in sixth place at last year's Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 and could very well find himself in a similar situation by the end of the weekend.
