washington is gonna jump all over a very screwed up hockey team in toronto. I like the over, whatever it is and a blowout by washington. Det Ana is too clsoe to call i think, the travelling is definitely not an excuse, the drive to anaheim is probable closer than the drive to the airport. and vancouver is gauranteed money tonight boys, good luck

a little exaggeration, but Luongo is definitely not happy with his play of late and will need to prove something to himself tonight, being at home will only make it easier, both teams are on a slump but st louis's is worse. luongo will come through like he has so many times for the canucks and ill wake up with a fatter wallet

bk your right about no team willing to give away a lot for a few months, i heard vancouver will only trade for sundin if he agrees to stay another year, i guess that makes it more interesting

hawks are too inconsistent and young they wont make it unless they acquire some skilled veterans.... Mats Sundin

up n them guts i think you were trying to say that leaf fans wouldnt mind seeing ottawa win the cup because the cup hasnt been in canada for a long time, i just wanna say that is not true lol, i would rather have another strike for 10 years than to see them win the cup, and trust me everyone here was cheering for anaheim last year. it might be jealousy but ive been to leaf/ottawa games in toronto and in ottawa, and the fans hate eachother, sundin will not go to ottawa and ottawa would never trade spezza for him, but i wish they would lol. and did you hear richard peddie say, the board has invested a lot of money in the team so of course we have a say in hockey matters, this is ridiculous, invest your money and trust the guys who know the game or take your money out, i cant believe fletcher sat there and didnt say anything, looks like another one of the boards puppets

Poor Ferguson, MLSE made embarassed him so much in the last few years im happy to see him leave, Fletcher is not the right man for the job but hes starting it off right demanding to be in full control with not interference from the Board. When I think of Fletcher i think of a man who wil ltrade away all young talent, bring in a few old guys to make a run for the cup, i know he wont do this so im just wondering how hes gonna deal with a team in the state that the leafs are in, well i just we all just have to wait and see, goodluck JFJ

i actually feel bad for ferguson, he never had any power with the team, the owners always controlled him and he was always forced into making stupid moves, (signing tucker to a ridiculous contract because the fans loved him for getting beat up every game) and signing mccabe (because captain Mats said the leafs need him) when mccabe couldve been traded for luongo at that point. Hopefully he gets another chance with a team that acutally respects his hockey background

sundin washed up?? have you watched any leaf games this year. they are the most pathetic group of players put together by anyone, their junior team could give them a challenge. and with all this he is still averaging over a point a game. the goals he scores are all basically unassisted, his assists are almost always fully created by him leaving other teammates with no other option but to score. If it wasnt for Mats, the leafs would be dead last in the league, giving him a chance to play on a team where he doesnt have to carry everyone and play with some good palyers will only make him better, hes proven hes still got another season left

surprisingly calgary is still interested, i say surprisingly because i cant believe they actually think they could make it out of the western conference, but vancouver has to be the favorite so far, not only have they shown so much interest, but sundin playing with the sedins and naslund being there must also help. I know Sundin loves it in canada, considering hes probably the only Leaf player that sings the national anthem before the game, so his canadian options arent too high and with the leafs not too likely in making a trade with the senators or canadiens, looks like vancouvers the only option, that being said i heard that they were wiling to offer a couple young players i cant remember who they are, defencemen i think
