Except OU didn't abandon the run game. They were relying on the run just as much after they went down 21 as they were before and actually ran only 1 fewer time in the second half than they did in the first. Murray was running for his life all night and missed almost half of his passes. Surprising the BEST OL in the country (and it's not even close) would allow that. |

Here comes the great Boom again. Name-calling, putting down, and insulting anyone who dares disagree with him.
Are you here to make another bet that you can welch on again? Didn't you say you were leaving covers like 5 times? |

Watson will certainly be the best player on the field. But last year he had the game of his life. His passing accuracy was amazing. He has been a little more careless with the ball this year, including 2 picks against Ohio State and another 2 that should have been. Perhaps he is a little overconfident, I don't know. But most folks are expecting him to have the same performance as he did last year against Bama. That is going to be hard to replicate, even for a player like him. I think there is a good chance his mistakes and play this year catch up with him such that he does not play well enough to win the game.

Baylor may ultimately prove itself to be the best team in the country. But the current rankings are based on what you have done to-date.
Baylor's opponents are a combined 13-26 so far. More tellingly, their opponents combined have a single win against a team with a winning record (West Virginia over Ga Southern). That is why Baylor is not yet in the top 4. They certainly have the remaining schedule to prove themselves and move up.

Certainly glad Notre Dame got beat.
But getting the gift of 4 second half turnovers and barely hanging on to win (after getting outgained by 140 yards) . . . yep, it's clear where Clemson stands in the college football world.

Boom Boom -- You are not fooling anyone with the Sabanade login. And wasn't "Sabanade" criticizing the refs as being SEC-biased in a thread Saturday, while Boom Boom did the same for another SEC-ACC game?
behind-clown Dabo celebrates a win over the 11th placed SEC team like he won the national championship. Lol.

They beat Alabama at home, great win, can't take that away from them. But as I said earlier this week there is now way no how Old Piss should be ranked anywhere near that top 4 slots. We all know why they were ranked in the top 4, it's not a popular conversation but it's true! Where do they fall this week? 6? It wouldn't surprise me if they fell no further then 9 or 10. This Playoff committee dropped the ball in week one IMO. Did you even watch the game? You realize Ole Miss was a very unfortunate break from winning? Ole Piss? You continue to sound like an immature child.

Or is the requirement that you actually catch and control the ball a bad rule too since the play occurred against an SEC team? Sheesh. The more you open your mouth the more you show your ignorance. |
