umm i think you will have to wait until after the twins/white sox game is done to get your winnings. i agree with the guy that said to use the money and buy an education, haha. idiots w/ money don't last very long, look at the retards on the show Extreme House Makeover. These poor families get half a million dollar houses and end up selling it for the cash, then end up back in poverty.

N.C. State +8.5 is the best on Saturday's card, does anyone else agree with me?

Best play of the week is N.C. STATE +9 against South Florida. N.C. State looked very good against East Carolina, winning outright. They have finally settled on a quarterback, and they have a good running game. The Wolfpack have a dominating, physical defense as well. South Florida has not played well away from home and they don't have a high scoring offense. N.C. State has speed on defense that will enable them to contain Matt Groethe. Don't be surprised if they win outright.

Wow, I put $10 on Oregon State moneyline just for the heck of it for a payout of $200, in addition to my $100 on Oregon State +25.5.

Well Moevao isn't horrendous like Tennessee's quarterback. He's not amazing, but he is pretty effective at running the offense.

You guys are ridiculous on here. Oregon State's coach Mike Riley used to be an assistant for Pete Carroll at USC. He knows their system well. In addition, the Beavers have a very young defense, but now they have four games under their belt to improve. Oregon State also has a decent quarterback with Lyle Moevao. This game is USC's first try Pac-10 road game as well. This spread, +25.5, is by far the highest in this series, despite all of those great USC teams. The next highest was -22 at USC!!

Philip Rivers has been one of the top 3 quarterbacks this season. He has been able to play very well against an excellent Carolina defense. The Jets have given up 19 points to New England (at home by the way) and 14, almost 21 points to Miami. With the injury to LT, San Diego will probably throw the ball more, opening up the offense. The Chargers should be able to score in the high 20's to low 30's. Brett Favre is not that great of a quarterback now, especially with only have two months with a new offense and new receivers. They couldn't move the ball against the Patriots, so there is no reason to believe they will move it against a better defense in the Chargers. Look for San Diego to cover easily.

I feel a need to make a few more comments. I almost think that this tusk guy is just f***ing with everyone. How does it take hard work to go from Harrah's to Arkansas? Who the hell goes from Vegas to Arkansas? Second, if you really bet that much, you would have made hundreds of thousands of dollars this season, and probably wouldn't be messing around in stupid posting forum. Third, if you are making hundreds of thousands of dollars, why would you need a boss to cut you checks every week, shouldn't you be working for yourself???

Ole Miss is actually one of my selections today, but for only 1 unit. Vanderbilt doesn't have an explosive offense, and they are playing a Rebel team revamped by Houston Nutt. Their offense has been surprisingly good behind excellent Texas transfer, Jevan Sneed, at quarterback. Vandy needed some weird plays at home to beat South Carolina, one of the worst teams in the SEC. They really struggled against the pass, allowing all three teams to torch them through the air. Ole Miss has played good defense, and they have a VERY impressive close game at Wake Forest. With this being the first game for Ole Miss at home, and a conference game, look for them to be fired up and take it to the Commodores.

The thing that is puzzling on this site is that you clowns who post stuff on here put your "picks" "locks", etc, but you give no research/information to back it up.
First of all, how the hell could you make a 9.5 point favorite, Alabama, a supposed "lock" playing on the road in the SEC against an Arkansas team with a somewhat experienced quarterback??? |

My first thought is that you pick way too many plays, amd. Second of all, I like Troy, possibly Oregon, possibly BYU, Wake Forest, Mississippi, and maybe LSU, but that's about it.
Take Stanford, Arizona State, Florida, Michigan State, and North Carolina instead. Trust me.

Louisville has had a huge drop in talent over the past few seasons. They were routinely beat at home last season, even with a great quarterback in Brian Brohm. They have to face a Big 12 team with better overall talent, espeicially with their JUCO transfers. The Big East is only something like 1-13 ATS against teams from outside their conference. Kansas State has an NFL caliber quarterback in Josh Freeman, who put up ridiculous numbers last season. He will have no problem throwing all over Louisville's defense. They got manhandled by an average Kentucky defense, a Kentucky team which almost lost at home to Middle Tennessee State. Kansas State will win this game handily.
