One of my biggest plays this year.

Utep minus 7 over Tulsa...I was dumb enough to bet on Tulsa minus 3 at home last year....Utep dominated every single game...I think they had the lead like the whole game every game, all 3 matchups...I looked at the players too and the teams are virtually identical from last year....I bet against Tulsa minus 8 last week when they played Weber State at home....Weber St won outright....I see no reason the matchup should be any different this year....does anyone have any thoughts or know anything that I dont? Thanks!

The players are absolutely not the same. The top three players on the court last year won't be around this year and UTEP is still adjusting to the new coach. I don't think this will be a cakewalk for them.

Tulsa has played two athletic defensive minded teams very close this year (Wich St. and UNLV).

UTEP returns their primary offense, but they lost their two best defensive players in Caracter and Moultrie I believe it was. They also have Tim Floyd as their coach this year as an added bonus.

As for Tulsa, they are hardly identical to last year's squad with the loss of Uzoh and Jordan who were at or near the top of many national categories last year.
