I am a "Die Hard" Spurs Fan but I am not letting that get in the way of capping this game properly.....Let's get one thing straight...Anyone of these teams can beat the other on any given night...We just have to figure out which side is the best for Game #1.....Miami matches up incredibly well with the Spurs and will attack the rim in Game #1...You can take that to the bank !!!
But can anyone tell me who gave the Spurs the most trouble this Post Season??? Yes, the Dallas Mavericks...Who finally made the appropriate adjustments and let Monte Ellis attack the rim, which opened up a ton of passing lanes...Dallas began making their 3 Balls...Dirk, Calderon, Carter all began to look 10 years younger because of one man's tenacity and willingness to attack all game long and the Spurs didn't have an answer for it...The Spurs finally began to make the appropriate adjustments in Game #4, which they won 93-89 but could have easily lost that game...
Again, I can guarantee the Miami Heat have looked at "ALL" of that series on tape and are planning on using it as a Blue Print on how to beat this Spurs squad...And if it takes the Spurs 3 to 4 games to make the appropriate adjustments in this series...It will be over before it even gets started...Miami is way out of the Mavericks League and mark my words, if the passing lanes open up for Miami in this series, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Dwayne Wade, Shane Battier and even Chris Bosh will make the Spurs pay!!!
I'm sorry guys but I'm not passing on Game #1, there is too much talk about the Spurs..."It's their year"..."Revenge"..."They just Blew Miami out in March"..."Miami has played a bunch of cupcakes in the playoffs, no way they are ready for the Spurs"..."Duncan guarantees a series win"...
Remember, the toughest guy is usually the quietest one and I hear absolutely nothing coming from the Miami Heat!!! I am seriously beginning to think that Miami may give the Spurs some lumps in Game #1 and bring them down to earth...This will be a long and grueling series, absolutely no doubt about that.....

Miami Heat in Game #1.....
Prestige33.....
Nice point of view but if you take a close look at Game #6 in OKC, the Thunder could have easily won...They underestimated the Spurs and their ability to win a game in OKC...
Miami is on the Road...They will not underestimate the Spurs, in fact this is a perfect situation for Miami...They will have to battle and claw their way if they want a win on the road..."No Home Cooking" to depend on and no fans backing them...Just Miami against the world in Game #1...Just the way I like it!!!
Good Luck.....

I think, Game #1 will be very exciting to say the least.....Someone has to win and someone has to lose.....
All I'm saying is that Miami is getting "0" Respect for this game.....
Big Mistake!!!
