It goes in order; if you were (-1) in runs then you lost... You had to get the runs perfect and be (-1) in hits... then it came down to whoever was closest on strikeouts.

as mentioned above, it goes in order
You need the Rangers to win
everyone who had the Rangers then goes down to the next line....10 runs...since more than 3 people had the 10 runs scored...it went down to the next line....19 hits....then for the final two places it went down to the number of strikeouts...
Since you had 11 runs total, you never made it down to the next tiebreak.

If it were cumulative, you could get the runs/hits/strikeouts all right and not the team and you'd only be (-1)...
It's funny because this week really played out the way the bookies thought... So everyone who simply picked the heavy favourite and the total line got it right! I then picked 2 hits for every run as an average and 1 strikeout per run... Pretty close; definitely easy!
Question, if someone has an identical entry to you -- do you split the prize or is it first come/first serve?

#168 Posted: 7/26/2010 6:03:23 PM congrads to the winners; tough contest to win. last 2 of 3 weeks have hit team and total runs on the nose, 1 off on hits. came in 4th both weeks as was several off in strikeouts and lost tiebreaker again. guess I think pitchers better than what they are.
