I completely forgot about Fast Lane tonight. Didn't even bother to stream it, but no surprises really. I've noticed that chalk usually does rule with WWE lines, but there is usually a -500 or so that loses. I guess it was Dean Ambrose in this case. This was even more of a push than him winning. DQ from not breaking a hold for "Psycho Dean."
No surprises with Reigns getting the clean win over Bryan. Long match that made them both look good, but no way the fans would have accepted Reigns over Bryan at WM unless he proved it and got the clean win.
As expected, Rusev got the win over Cena, but the image was preserved because he didn't tap, he just passed out. Respect to Cena for not being a prima donna and being willing to help put people over. He knows he had to with all the "Cena Sucks" chants that have been going on for years.
Thought Triple H and Sting were supposed to fight? Guess I was right yet again that they couldn't waste that on a bridge ppv. Never watched WCW, but Sting was in the movie Ready to Rumble, so I know he was pretty popular.
Surprised the Usos lost, but everyone knew they were going to by the line. The Usos are over, but I'd rather watch the Divas Championship at this point. Giving the Harts the tag titles are a nice reward for the time they've put in. Nobody cares about the tag titles.
Only saw pics and read about Wyatt in the casket as a prelude to WM vs. the Undertaker. I said he wasn't worthy before, but good job of the creative team on that one. We'll see where they go with that. Honestly don't know how that one will play out just yet, considering Taker is supposedly in terrible wrestling shape.
I heard on a covers post I think that Taker's retirement match should be a casket match where Kane puts him away for good, but Kane doesn't need the push anymore. Giving Wyatt the "dark" angle to retire Taker for good would be a pretty good angle.
Oh yeah, and without seeing any lines, I would have picked Goldust too. Goldust needed to be in WM somehow, and this feud has been brewing little by little for a month now. If Stardust would have won, that would have been the end. Goldust needs to put Stardust over (however much a win vs. him really can), and it needed to happen at WM.
Good job on fixing Stardust's teeth too. I could never take him seriously with that big gap in his mouth. If only he could get rid of that lisp for good maybe he could be something.
WWE is going full speed with this since NFL ended. Their stock price has shown they've been doing the right things. Up like 60% in the past 3 weeks.
