interesting line here in that at first glance, you say whoa.....ton of points for seattle to cover. Then you think about both teams, their history and how they matchup. With Bennett back and the defense healthy, Carolina may not have as much luck running the ball which means, it may rest on cams arm tonite. That for me, could spell doom.
When I think about seattles offense, i look at how they line up against a banged up defense without their play caller Luke back there. Russ is healthy, jimmy is beastin again and Baldwin and Lockett are dangerous. Throw in a healthy rawls, I just don't see Carolina keeping them in check. I don't. The 8 points is a lot but I feel with Seattle losing in the playoffs last year, essentially laying down to Carolina and losing in the regular season to them, revenge has to be in their minds in Seattle. Also, home field is on the line and with losing twice at home already, Seattle knows they need to protect their house.
I know I speak of all the obvious things in this matchup but one thing I'm looking for tonite is how Carolina blocks for cam. After throwing the game last week against Tampa (yes, it was very obvious), Seattle will get after it and beat Carolina up on both sides. If Carolina can't run the ball, this one will be a beat down and I think we see that beat down tonite. The line is supposed to make people feel comfortable in getting 8 points but as off as the line is, I'm going with Seattle tonite.

Second half 4 points either way? No idea what to expect in this one. If zebras get involved, we all know what happens but if not, the spread shouldn't come into play at all. Leaving it alone. Enjoy all

I'd say Seattle has a great shot of beating dallas but with earl being out now, it's gonna be interesting how they handle the loss back there. A healthy jimmy though really open up things for the running game and the passing game. Very dangerous team.

Last thing about last nite: regardless of what the rule was, cam put himself above the team. A tie. I get it but as an educator and a coach, you can bet that I use this as an example of how not to be when others depend on you to hold yourself accountable and be responsible. I've never liked cam. I think he's a phony. He's immature and he's entitled and when the chips are down, you see his lack of leadership. Imagine if seattle won that game by a point of two and his benching and the fg really cost them. Fact is, this is the nfl. Grown men, not college. It's absolutely embarrassing that cam couldn't follow a small rule. Some may say, again, it's a tie. I say EXACTLY. With the way that guy dresses you cant tell me that "mishap" wasnt pre-meditated....Do you see Rodgers, russ, Brees, eli, rivers, Stafford or Matt Ryan pull this crap? It's sad and again, it's pathetic. Kudos to Riverboat Ron for staying true to HIS CODE (not many would have-mad respect for him) and time to grow up cam for thinking you are above the team. I could never have played with a guy like cam and I would never coach a guy like that. Plain and simple. My two cents. Enjoy the day all

Totally agree on Cam Newton. I would never want that guy as a QB, he may have all the talent in the world, but he does not possess the attitude and leadership skills you would want from a QB. His ego is bigger than the team, you'll see his demise in the years to come.

Anybody actually listen to cam speak? Oh boy. He just doesn't get it. He first says he supports rivera's decision then he says that a tie doesn't go with that outfit. Then he says he wire a similar outfit without a tie and nothing happened. So which is it cam? You support rivera's decision or you question his consistency with enforcing the rules? Can anybody see the bs with this schmuck? He is what is wrong with sports. He's a diva and even though it shouldn't piss me off as much, it does because of his place in his sports. He is the MVP. Want to act like it? At the end of the day, cams message was loud and clear. He was more worried with the way he looked than being the leader of the other 50 plus guys in that locker room and holding himself accountable as the leader. Again, russ, rivers, Brees, Rodgers, Stafford, and eli wouldn't do that crap. I see right through him. It makes me sick too that with his stature in sports, kids see this and think it's ok and that image gets put on a pedestal over being the guy who people look towards for leadership and doing right. He just doesn't get it. Moving on all

I like indy but it seems too easy. Still looking at the data and the angles amigo. This could be one of those that again, comes down to a missed extra point or a field goal. Money is ALL OVER indy so far. I will most likely have a play/writeup am hour before kick. Until then....

I was done with Cam when he didn't dive on that loose ball in the Super Bowl. He might be the ONLY player in the NFL that wouldn't have in that situation!
