No. 15 Clemson 47, Georgia Tech 31: Tajh Boyd threw for two touchdowns - including the go-ahead score early in the fourth quarter - as Clemson defeated visiting Georgia Tech.
Trailing 31-30, the Tigers (5-1, 2-1 ACC) drove 75 yards on eight plays to take the lead. Boyd's 35-yard scoring pass to DeAndre Hopkins put Clemson ahead 36-31 with 10:29 to play. Boyd then threw to Hopkins for the two-point conversion.
Georgia Tech's Chris Milton slipped as he picked up the ensuing kickoff, giving the Yellow Jackets the ball on their 2-yard line. Two plays later, Clemson's Spencer Shuey tackled Orion Smith in the end zone for a safety.
Clemson had 601 yards of total offense.
Tevin Washington completed 9 of 14 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown and also ran for two scores for Georgia Tech (2-4, 1-3), which has lost three in a row.
