No. 14 Florida 38, Kentucky 0: Quarterback Jeff Driskel threw for a touchdown and added another on the ground to lead 14th-ranked Florida over the visiting Wildcats.

Driskel connected with 10 different receivers and finished with 203 yards through the air, completing 18 of 27 passes for the Gators (4-0, 3-0 SEC).

Florida led just 3-0 after the first quarter before the Gator defense took over, picking off quarterback Morgan Newton three times in the second quarter alone, including a 26-yard return for a touchdown by Jaylen Watkins. Kentucky's offense was held to 219 total yards.

The Wildcats (1-3, 0-1 SEC) missed league passing leader Maxwell Smith, who was held out with a shoulder injury. Newton finished the day just 7-of-21 for 48 yards before true freshman Jalen Whitlow stepped under center in the fourth quarter. Whitlow completed only one of his six passes for 12 yards in relief.

Mike Gillislee, who entered the game as the SEC's leading rusher, ran for 56 yards and a touchdown and backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett added a touchdown run for the Gators, who start the year 4-0 for the second time in as many seasons under head coach Will Muschamp.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Florida improved to 46-17 all-time against Kentucky and has won 26 straight in the series ... The Gators finished just 3-6 down the stretch in 2011 after an identical 4-0 start ... Wide receiver La'Rod King was held to just three catches for 13 yards for the Wildcats after a career-best 10-catch performance last week.
