Andrew Luck threw three of his four touchdown passes in the first half in what was likely his final home game to lead No. 6 Stanford to a 28-14 victory over No. 22 Notre Dame on Saturday.

The Cardinal (11-1) cashed in on a pair of Notre Dame miscues in the second quarter, including an interception that led to an 11-yard touchdown throw from Luck to Ty Montgomery with 10 seconds left in the half to make it 21-0.

The Fighting Irish (8-4) had a miserable first half offensively, gaining 75 yards and turning the ball over twice. Additionally, David Ruffer missed a 20-yard field goal in the second quarter that Stanford followed with a 10-play, 80-yard scoring drive.

Luck, who completed 20-of-30 passes for 233 yards, capped the scoring with his fourth touchdown pass, a 55-yard toss to Coby Fleener with 5:40 remaining in the game. Fleener also scored on a 28-yard catch in the second quarter.

Stepfan Taylor had 149 yards rushing for Stanford. Michael Floyd caught eight passes for 92 yards and a touchdown for Notre Dame.

It is thought by many Luck will forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft.
