Russell Westbrook scored a game-high 21 points and Kevin Durant added 20 points and 15 rebounds as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the New Jersey Nets 84-74 on Saturday night.
The Nets were gaining momentum in the fourth quarter until James Harden hooked up with Westbrook for a huge alley-oop slam late in the game to silence the crowd at the Prudential Center.
Durant had another big game for the Thunder, collecting 14 first-half points to help Oklahoma City build a 13-point halftime advantage.
The Nets were ranked first in the league with 143 made three-pointers coming into the game, but shot just 3 for 23 from downtown and 31 percent from the field.
Kris Humphries earned a double-double for the Nets, scoring 12 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
New Jersey was playing the first game of a back-to-back-to-back.
The Thunder improve to 13-3 on the season and are now 49-27 all-time versus the Nets.
