Rangers 12, Blue Jays 6: Mike Napoli returned to the starting lineup with two hits, two RBIs and three runs scored and host Texas used a seven-run second inning to sweep the three-game series from Toronto.

Napoli, who did not start the first two games of the series with an upset stomach, hit one of three Texas home runs. He blasted a two-run shot in the seventh, his fourth homer of the season. Adrian Beltre connected for his 10th homer, a two-run shot off Toronto starter Kyle Drabek (4-5).

Texas blew open the game in the second, sending 11 hitters to the plate. Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus each hit a two-run double in the inning, and Beltre’s homer to left-center put the Rangers ahead 7-0.

Kinsler took Drabek deep for a two-run shot in the third, his sixth of the season. Kinsler finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored and tied a career high with four RBIs.

Texas starter Yu Darvish (7-2) allowed seven hits and three runs in five innings while walking three and striking out three.

Drabek lasted three innings, giving up eight hits and nine runs while walking three and striking out one. Toronto reliever Jesse Chavez struck out seven in five innings of relief, allowing three runs.

Toronto’s J.P. Arencibia homered twice, hitting solo shots in the fourth and eight innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Colby Rasmus went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored for Toronto. Edwin Encarnacion also had two hits and drove in a run. … The Blue Jays’ bullpen pitched 18 2/3 innings in the three-game series. … Texas 2B Michael Young went 3-for-4 with a run scored. … Texas finished the series with 34 runs on 44 hits.
