The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to stave off elimination yet again as they travel back to MSG to take on the New York Rangers on tonight.

My analysis
The New York Rangers have had several players step up in this second-round series against the Carolina Hurricanes. Igor Shesterkin has been great between the pipes, while Alexis Lafreniere, Artemi Panarin, Mika Zibanejad, and Vincent Trocheck are all tied for the team lead in points with six.
Zibanejad was one of the key contributors in the first-round series, and he’s kept it up here against the Canes. He has 13 points (10 assists) through eight playoff games, with an apple in each contest.
Zibanejad has been nearly automatic in picking up an assist in these playoffs, playing with Chris Kreider and Jack Roslovic. It certainly helps he’s an important part of the Rangers’ lethal power play as well.
New York's top-line center has been on a tear for a while now. He now has a point (and assist) in 14 straight games — six to end the regular season and eight in the postseason — with a total of 21 points in that span. He’s done a bit of that damage on the power play, with 10 of those 21 points coming on the man advantage.
Despite Zibanejad’s success, we’re still getting a rather favorable price on him to record an assist here at -107. He’s as high as -148 (FanDuel) and -120 (DraftKings) to do so at other books.

Mika Zibanejad has been helping to lead the way for the Rangers, and it’s been Sebastian Aho for the Hurricanes. He’s picked up a point in all four games thus far, including two multi-point games in New York to start the series.
I'm also going with the Over 5.5 to close out this same-game parlay. Three of the four games in this series have gone well Over that number, and if the Rangers are ahead late, we could see the Canes pull their goalie multiple times in desperation.
