burley thanks for the constructive criticism and thoughts. But i have to tell you now.....being involved with sportsbooks...(i.e being clients of many....knowing people in the industry) let me tell you this...the greek is BY FAR one of the hardest sportsbooks to beat on the market...many who play with them see the lines out and fail to shop for better numbers...what might look like value ISNT....because the numbers it is released at ESPECIALLY in sports with the handle is probably relatively small in comparison to the other sports they provide...they must give themselves some kind of out.
here are more examples...
on bet365 the over under for the match is @ 22.5 games and OVER is juiced at -138....while the greek has kept there lines BOTH EVEN @ -110. Meaning that if i took this wager @ 365..id probably get even money or +105 on the UNDER...while at the greek i STILL have to swallow the -110 juice.....
remember one thing in tennis...JUST BECAUSE A MATCH GOES 3 SETS (or 5 in the mens ) DOES NOT give an automatic OVER....as we SAW clearly in the Ferrer/JCF match which went 4 sets and everyone expected an "easy over"
Also if you look at canbet.com...they have a line out....SIMILAR TO ...the +1.5 sets line...
"will justin henin lose a set YES -400 NO +275 i believe....."
so basically....if i took justin to win in straights at CANBET....i would get +275.....and the GREEK is only paying me +140??!!
and if i swallow the juice by taking masha +1.5 -170 ...they are SAVING ME -230?? trust me my friend THE GREEK ISNT A CHARITY.....this book is a LOT smarter than people think....the more i look at this match.....the more i believe Henin will win straight up.....the match POSSIBLY coulddd go 3 sets.....but it will still be under the 22.5 .
Mind you also.....books LOVE people that take parlays...but even then the greek isnt THAT great for parlays as they do not allow inter game parlays on nhl hockey.....bet 365 is by FAR a better book for props as well as giving you an opportunity to BUY AND SELL points....will make a play shortly....but good luck with your play burley...
