I am a Giants fan so this is what I think: 1) We need to replace Daniel Jones. 2) We have too many roster needs to trade up. 3) Lots of teams need a QB, so a trade down to mid first round may leave our GM with his dick swinging in the wind. Rich Eisen reported that the Giants appear to be done with Jones without citing a Giants source, so I think Joe Schoen has called around about a trade up and that's how word leaked out. I suspect this is a smokescreen, our team has too many needs to part with precious draft capital. Sources in the media known to be friendly to the Giants (NY Post, Big Blue View, etc.) have reported a serious interest in JJ McCarthy. This strikes me as a smokescreen, as well. A bullshit leak to the palace guard. Everybody expects Williams, Daniels, Maye to be gone 1, 2, 3 though not necessarily that exact order. So I feel the Giants are probably going to take McCarthy, Penix, or Nix. Scratch McCarthy for the above reason. Scratch Penix based on injury history and the fact that a lefty QB would get killed turning his back to Evan Neal, our current RT who isn't working out.
It's either Nix at Six or an attempt to trade down to 12 or 13 and get Nix at a better price. For the record, I haven't seen a second's worth of tape on any of these guys and wouldn't know what to look for if I did. |

KC +14.5, SF+14.5, under 50.5 parlayed pays even money at FanDuel.
More a bet on defense and the running game than any particular outcome. |

Travis Kelce to score first and last touchdown of the game +6000 Don't tell me that ain't worth 10$. |

I lean Ravens on the same facts that you lean KC. Travis Kelce will clearly do anything for money. 1) He fucked over his alcoholic soda sponsor (Casa Azul) when Bud Light showed up with a stack of cash. 2) He is willing to be in a phony PR relationship to kiss up to Goodell, who clearly sees Taylor Swift fans as replacing us middle aged fans who are going to die off sooner. 3) It seems like he's in about 15% of commercial advertising these days.
Gentlemen, I ask you: Is this not the behavior of a man willing to engage in point shaving? How else is he gonna keep up with his fake girlfriend? I wouldn't be at all surprised on Sunday if Wonder Bread gets Butterfingers. |

At this point, the governors of Kansas and Missouri are the only people who can vouch for this. I'm not putting a dime on anonymous sourcing from the NFL, considering they weren't the ones who postponed the Bills game. |

Will the KC/Miami game be moved to Sun 1pm for safety's sake and if so what are the ramifications?
in NFL Betting @vanzack Based on the last 2 hours. Based on all the comments on the thread you started about the Bills/Steelers game being rescheduled. When all those people point out that there is much more weather danger faced by the players and fans in KC tonight, it seems like a common sense thing to do. |

in NFL Betting I'm pretty sure there is a strong possibility that this happens because it will be warmer and safer for everybody. Also it restores the original TV schedule.
My question is what are the ramifications? At first glance warmer weather would favor the Dolphins, but they have a better run game and better run defense over 17 games. (I know, injuries) So maybe the Phins are hurt by the warmer 1pm slot?
Anybody have any ideas? |

Honestly, the Dolphins moneyline at 2 to 1 seems overpriced. They looked like shit last week, but Mahomes' receivers have looked like shit all year. The Chiefs probably win and don't cover, but 2 to 1 seems like good value for an event that isn't completely out of the realm of reality.

The NY governor just built a new stadium for the family that owns the Bills.
Is it beyond possibility that a phone call was made from a rich family to one of the politicians they contribute to? |

@LAGameofInches " Other stuff I have played: RAVENS TO WIN SUPER BOWL (+350) and RAVENS TO WIN AFC (+110). "
I liked those for 10$ apiece in Week 13 (+650 and +270), because I thought if they did well against SF, there was a catalyst to unlock value. Hadn't even seen Baltimore play. After I saw the SF game, I put another 40$ on the Super Bowl at +450, because I thought it was insulting. (SF was +250) |

@dustmiester Jets/Pats has some meaning, I think. Belichek's players don't know if he's coming back and want to put out their best tape. Saleh's players know that ownership is essentially treating this season as a do-over since Rodgers got injured. For the Jets players, they might be looking ahead to getting this nightmare season over with. New England has had a nightmare season, too, but there might be hope and change on the horizon.
Also Antonio Pierce is coaching for his job and Sean Payton is safe. But that is mitigated by the fact that the Broncos locker room might hate Wilson so much they react like their bad coach just got fired and come out swinging to make RW look bad.
Everybody concentrates on the playoffs, but there are jobs, promotions, and personal vendettas on the line in these otherwise meaningless games.

@soup-can I mean, if State Farm and Pfizer commercials represented 95% of my income, I'd give those two corporate behemoths 95% of my time and the fans would just have to accept a 5% effort from me. |

@Blitz36 The sad thing is that this isn't the old days, when Fred Dryer had to sell real estate in the off-season. These guys get such huge salaries, but it's not enough. They have to worship money as an idol and it's so ungrateful to the fans. |

Mahomes gonna put the team on his back and run for it.
Antonio Pierce doesn't come from the treat QB's differently school of thought.
Mahomes might get injured today. |

@Digitalkarma I believe a famous boxing trainer once said, "It's not the sex that ruins the fighter, it's the staying out all night looking for it."
Kelce is flying all over the place for his "girlfriend." Most teams don't want to travel the week after playing Monday night. Follow Travis' $$$$$$. |

Chargers ML. Buffalo is pathetic enough to lose this game. Buffalo doesn't need to win this game
in Penalty Box The best way to out someone on a message board is to sue him for defamation. I never threatened to sue anybody. I just pointed out the fucking quagmire this board gets into if degenerate gamblers start naming each other in public legal actions.
NEVER in my legal career have I humored ANYONE who got offended over an internet post and wanted to sue for defamation. I just charged them 500$ to lay out how impossible it is and how it exposes your entire life to public ridicule. |
