Win Lose Push Total(%) +/- 6 3 0 67% +7 units After French game. As expected French came up strong. For the English to move on they will need to do better than a tie. The Sweeds needs a win to stay in the group. Look for the English to push and run down the sides with their wingers. My Pick England ML |

Spain vs Ireland. A tiny Ant vs Goliath. Spain winners of last WC and Euro Cup are expected to go on and win the tourney where as Ireland are the underdogs of the entire tourney. To see Spain lose or tie is close to impossible. Lose or Tie for Spain would a be very disappointing result. This game should be an easy 3pt game for the Spanish Giants.
If odds are o/u 2 buy over. But for now a very 99.9% sure pick would be Spain ML My Picks SPAIN ML Players to Watch Out: SPA: Casillas, Iniesta, Fabregas, David Silva IRE: O'Shea, Duff, Gibson, Keane |

Win Lose Push Total(%) +/- 3 2 0 60% +5 units Game 2 in Group C. Croatia has already racked up 3 pts in the group while Italy and Spain each has 1 a piece. Spain being last WC winners and Euro winners are expected to move on out of the Group Stages easily but Italy showing that they are still one of the best teams in the world sealed a tie with Spain. Don't Let Croatia's last game trick you. Having to win 3-1 over Ireland wasn't a surprise. Ireland being an underdog not only in the group but also in the entire tourney. Expect Italy to continue to show their skills and strength both offensively and defensively while Croatia will be trying to put more enforcers in their own defensive end of the field. I would put down units on Italy ML but have to see tomorrow's spreads. Currently it is 2.10 for Italy and 3.3 for Croatia. I'll post again tomorrow but I'm 90% leaning on ML for Italy for sure. Gotta see o/u and the rests.... Players to Look out for ITA: Buffon, De Rossi, Cassano, Balotelli, Pirlo, Di Natale (off the Bench) CRO: Jelavic, Mandzukic |

Win Lose Push Total(%) +/- 3 2 0 60% +5 units KNVB going home.. Its not possible for the Neds to go on to next round which means Denmark and Portugal will need a win next game and to win the score difference in order to go on in Group B. Surprisingly, Robin was subbed out for Kyut but Van Persie gave the Oranje a bit of hope to be back in the game. In the end I have to tip my hat to the mighty Germans. Gomez did some damage and in my last post I stated that it was all up to both team's CF to seal it up. Gomez was appointed and he delivered 2 first half goals. Tomorrow is going to be a new day.... |

What a game...
When Ronaldo missed the shot on a breakaway, I had a feeling that it would cost Portugal but in the end with the pressure Portugal came up on top.... Ned vs Germany. The Germans coming up with a header from Gomez sealed a 3 pt on the chart but the Dutch will have to put more effort. Losing to the Danish was a surprise. The Danish put more effort into the game than the Dutch did. I guess their mentality was that they were going to win so they weren't playing their best. This game its against the mighty Germans. Neds gotta step up a notch and play like they did during the WC. If comparing the 2 teams I'd say Germans has a stronger Defense and GK but Mid wise, I'd hand that to the Neds. Its all up to RVP aka EPL MVP and Gomez to seal the deal for their side. I won't be surprise if this is going to end in a tie. Key Players to watch Ned: Van Persie, Robin, Sniejder Ger: Muller, Gomez, Schweinsteiger My Pick: Oranje DNB (draw no bet) |

Winning +1 Unit Losing -1 Unit Total 0 Unit =================== - Portugal ML - Ned DNB Banked on Czech but what a surprising tie from Poland. Its not gonna be a mystery or it doesn't take rocket science that Portugal is going to win. Look out for some fast pace counter attacks from both sides for Portugal especially from Ronaldo and Nani. Game 2 of today will be hard. I'm not going to lie, I am a KNVB fan and this pick is 100% personal. Losing to the Danish does look bad. To stay in the group they will have to get a win over Germany. |

rentongfb has a great point here... getting out as group leaders can avoid possible matchups but looking at German's group, it basically really hard getting out early or not.

Sorry Left out a write up.
Russia going into Game 2 after beating Czech 4-1 looks strong. With Poland playing at home is an advantage but we saw that Poland couldn't get any more than a draw against Greece last week. Poland looking to push today to get back into the Group while Russia looking to seal a win and widen the gap to qualify to next round. For this game ending in a Tie will be very disappointing for the Russians. |
