Six dismal years of ZLiberalism finally comes to a halt
Myself and family didn't even bother to cast a vote in a Red meat state like Texas....
Gotta think Hillary and poor mr. bill goodn't be feeling more ill after last night's shellacking
Hillary in 2016
If poor Mitch can just do even a half ....job as Senate Majority leader....the greatest NATION in the free world should be in GREAT hands for ther next ten years....
So much DAMAGE to repair but oh....how so quickly it can be resolved......This is the GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY the GOP has waited for...............
Congrats to Mitch for staying steady but we will see shortly how great of a leader he is.....just a liitle advice...heed Ted Cruz's words from last night...........this is a GREAT time to be an AMERICAN..after 6 dark, dismal years of liberal policies

Crusher13 last nights' win was not just a GOP wave ...
It was a tidal wave .................
When the Senate starts to approve the 352 House bills sitting on Harry Reid's desk awaiting action..watch the Democrats morph from the Party of "Hope" to the Party of "Nope"...LOL

as a non-partisan independent I just called it as I see it with no allegiances or alliances...
Its good to be back, altho it appears like few posters seem to be going bananas with me making posts... it happens.... lol
Mavs are looking good this season imo... return of chandler is huge for them he was the heart and soul of their championship... and their big3 with parsons/ellis/dirk they should have enough scoring fire power to keep up with any team in the nba...

The same way the DEM slap fest in the past was moronic.
There was no tidal wave, no revolution, this is just the ebb and flows of politics.
Who cares really, the path we are on has nothing to do with what party holds a majority..both have weaknesses and both are not serving the needs of the average citizen..so congrats for those who love to savor victory off the backs of others and make jokes, insults to the other side..that really accomplishes a great deal towards making things better.

Go look up just the basic CPI relative to average hourly earnings and tell me if someone earning min wage or even higher is keeping their heads above water?
Pushing the lowest down only creates a greater reliance on the government...

This is like an 0-15 NFL team getting a win in their last game of the year..... all the face-painters are lining up for Super Bowl tickets for next year.
Still not getting an R-President for a looooooooong time.
And the people here who are excited that the Human Turtle will be in control of the Senate is hilarious

Oh ,,,it was a GOP tidal wave alright ...liberals can play it down all they want..but the facts remain......
Even The Washington Post called it a stunning GOP electoral rout in the midterm elections and the Liberal NYTimes political headlines was "Riding a Wave of Discontent ,GOP Takes Senate"
Republicans have won at least 24 of 36 state governor's races up for grabs, with contests in Alaska and Vermont still too close to call.
Tuesday’s GOP victories mean that Republicans will control at least 31 governorships in 2015, the most by either party in 17 years.
Republicans also took control of the governor’s mansions in three Democratic bastions: Maryland,, Massachusetts and Arkansas.(Bill Clinton campaigned heavily in Arkansas)..
The GOP not only took 7 seats in the Senate,, but could take 2 of the 3 not yet decided seats..in Iowa the Democrat candidate lost after First Lady Michelle Obama referred to Democratic Senate Candidate Rep. Bruce Braley as ...“Bruce Bailey,” ..lol great endorsement ...lol
They also added 14 more seat in the House making the GOP largest majority in the last 60 years...
...and the GOP added to their State Legislative Houses holding both chambers and now control 66 of 99 State Houses..this is a big fk'in deal ..the most they have since the 1920s
Yes,it was more than a Republican wave that swept through America on Nov.4th 2014.. it was indeed a huge GOP tidal wave.election ..and a Ideological win for GOP......that has left the left in denial ..but there is no denying the Democrats and Obola got walloped..

I would go ahead and quit comparing everything relative to minimum wage workers. They will always be left behind. They have very little initiative, etc. The rest of the country is doing fine. Stocks up, economy improving, jobs not leaving anymore. On all of this I agree with our buddy Don. Now with Congress on one page maybe things will improve even more.

Slim.... weren't you whistling the same tune in 2010?
Interesting read....
"As it happens, the 2010 midterm elections look strikingly similar to the 2014 results.
Exit polls from House of Representatives races in 2010 showed a national electorate made up of 35 percent self-identified Democrats, 35 percent Republicans and 29 percent independents. Exit polls fromTuesday's election showed a nearly identical breakdown. Those same polls showed the parties maintaining roughly the same level of loyalty among their own voters as in 2012. The only major difference is that Democrats in 2014 actually improved their performance by 5 percentage points among independent voters."
